Canada Mining Innovation Council (CMIC) will facilitate initial connections between SMEs and Mining companies via webinar, workshop and introductions that will provide SME's with a clear pathway for participating in modelling and simulations efforts across the mining supply chain.

The purpose of this project is to develop a user-interface (U.I.) enabling our clients to use the Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) tool, Reticle, for a variety of use cases in digital media and advertising settings.

The Project will build upon existing integrated quantum source, practical detection systems and recent advances in a tabletop practical quantum enhanced target detection system at the University of Toronto to deliver novel photonic integrated circuits, which empower readily manufacturable, reliable and portable quantum sensing components. Quantum enhanced systems will be achieved by delivering novel circuits, which are composed of numerous devices fabricated separately to realize quantum photonic sensing hardware. The Project will advance LiDAR and positional/ navigational sensing capabilities by adopting established and successful technologies from electronics manufacturing to benefit quantum technologies in sensing applications especially those in the fields or LiDAR, radar, and PNT. The Project team will design, optimize and produce the active and passive photonic components separately. The Project will result in high TRL technologies which are rugged, low-cost, low-power, and portable. The Project will constitute a substantial advance in Canadian quantum-based sensing technology.

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;.develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action..
