The objective of the project is to provide work experience in a group that provides advisory services and support for agricultural producers in the financial and human management of their business, at the start-up level and for expansion, accounting and business-transfer projects. The intern will collect and enter financial data for analysis, carry out and balance the accounting follow-ups and analyze the financial and technical results of agricultural producers of different crops. The intern will also calculate the production cost or cost price of a processed or unprocessed agricultural product and establish the diagnostic of an agricultural business.

​The objective of the project is to assist with pick-your-own berries in season as well as wholesale/farm-gate sales of fresh/frozen fruit and vegetables. The Intern will assist with all aspects of produce sales including: preparing fruit and vegetables for sale, supervising in-field customers, cash in/out of customers, cleaning and maintaining public areas.

​The objective of the project is to give the employee experience in agriculture through delivering customer services, verifying chemical and seed inventory, participating in safety courses, and reporting to the general manager.

The objective of the project is to assist Raymont's Berries berry farm with its production of strawberries and raspberries. The Intern will assist with planting, learning the different varieties of berries grown on the farm, how to care for the fields, controlling pest through the release of insects, collecting leaves to study the quality of the plants in the fields, and aiding with irrigation and fertilization. In addition, they will learn to manage the harvesting crew and wholesale. ​

The objective of the project is to give the employee experience in the field research program which includes areas of field research, experimental design, statistics, crop production and agronomy, weed, disease and insect identification.

The objective of the project is to involve the intern in the planting of hazelnut trees on a 2-hectare plot of land in order to diversify the business’s activities. This involves planting trees, applying organic fertilizer, watering and weeding.  Other activities are planned in the project, including a manure pelletizing process to replace chemical fertilizers and the installation of a fence to protect trees from deer. The intern will also be able to work in the chicken coop and learn more about laying hens. 

The objective of the project is to assist the business owners in their daily tasks. The intern will help in the construction of the nursery for young calves. They will care for the animals so that they can adapt to their new environment. Herd monitoring will determine whether the changes have actually improved animal welfare. ​

The objective of the project is to assist the full-time agronomists to conduct efficacy and residue trials. The intern will help with plot layout, plot preparation, test substance application, assessments of test substance efficacy, yield assessments, and other activities related to many different cropping systems available in Southern Ontario.

The objective of the project is to support agricultural businesses in the extended Chaudière-Appalaches region in optimizing their management practices in order to increase their performance and profitability as well as their sustainability over the years. The CMCA works mainly with dairy, hog, field crop and beef producers, without excluding other producers. The intern will be expected to work in a team environment with local advisors and their clients. He will therefore have to travel occasionally to the Chaudière-Appalaches region. He or she will guide clients in making decisions regarding investments, financing and the direction of their business. Under the supervision of existing staff, he will carry out technical and economic analyses, diagnoses and action plans.
