Project Legacy: No. 2 Construction Battalion - A digital project for students

Researchers at the University of Toronto (U of T) have developed a handheld 3D printer for the treatment of severe skin burns and wounds sustained by astronauts during deep-space missions. During the project, the function of an upgraded 3D printer and enhanced bioink will be evaluated during reduced gravity flights about the National Research Council of Canada (NRC)’s Falcon aircraft.

U-CARE will work with key stakeholders such as the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), national policy makers and district assemblies to map UPCW in northern Ghana and create an enabling policy and programming environment to recognize, reduce and redistribute UPCW in ten northern districts.

Develop a comprehensive database of base- and precious-metal, volatile and critical mineral contents for both domestic and global volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits

The purpose of this program is to increase Canadians' access to flood hazard information and maps in order to make informed decision-making related to flood mitigation, land use planning and prevent costly impacts of flood.

Implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in partnership with the World Food Programme, and in collaboration with Fondation Suisse de déminage, project activities include: (1) identifying, mapping and surveying agricultural land suspected of having mines and explosive remnants of war; (2) providing education to rural communities on explosive remnants of war , including girls, boys, women, men, older adults and persons with disabilities; (3) providing technical support related to mine and explosive remnants of war clearance and disposal; (4) providing technical assistance related to soil testing, decontamination and rehabilitation; and (5) providing matching grants, vouchers and in-kind packages (seeds, animal feed, agricultural equipment), allowing rural households and small producers to return to production as quickly as possible.

Project activities include: (1) providing technical and small-scale financial support to youth-led organizations to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate gender-responsive initiatives that support peace efforts; (2) providing opportunities to youth led organizations to engage with one another and other stakeholders on conflict affected youth experiences and role of women and men who are youth in peace efforts; (3) conducting mapping of current national and local level peace processes in Cameroon; (4) documenting and disseminating practices and successes of youth-led community peace initiatives; and (5) providing opportunities for youth led organizations to advocate with local and national peace process stakeholders for inclusive and gender-responsive youth participation in the peace process.

. • Choose materials using MAP and density functional theory modeling, preliminarily predict the most plausible material chemistry and structure for next steps, and evaluate the new materials feasibility for scalability and potential market penetration. • Validate results using advanced and operando electrochemical techniques and scale up materials synthesis gram → kilogram. • Investigate up to three battery chemistry generations with a feedback loop based on the above analysis, material characterization and battery performance and modify materials coating with protective layers and enhanced electrolyte formulations

The intention of ATNP is to produce a community-wide map with prioritized segments to support future development of active transportation (AT) infrastructure on-reserve.
