This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international co-innovation work in Morocco and Kenya.

The project will support the development of intellectual property capacity within the firm.

Develop relevant online content for the launch of the certification portal to optimize continuing education and certification/compliance/learning badges.

The three components of this program include Applied Knowledge and Techniques for Space, in which students will learn to design a space sensor system and subsequently be trained on manufacturing sensor components using specified printers and suitable materials; Diverse perspectives workshop series, which will instruct participants on unconscious bias, allyship, self-protection in disputes, and safeguarding against discrimination; and Capstone projects to provide a platform for students to apply their technical and professional skills, in which teams of six students will apply technical and collaboration skills to a range of space projects involving sensors and will pitch their solutions to a panel acting as funding evaluators or aerospace investors. After the summer school, with their consent, this project will track student trajectories to explore retention rates and long-term impacts.

The purpose of this contribution is to empower Indigenous youth (ages 14–25) through land-based cultural programming rooted in syilx teachings. It features leadership camps, storytelling nights, and safety planning gatherings, alongside holistic supports like mentorship, healing workshops, and arts-based activities.

Supporting implementation of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions

The project develops a distributed, layered data platform for next-generation networks that ingests, parses, and correlates multi-source network and service data to enable advanced, built-in anomaly detection and service insights.

Through the established Inuit-Crown Partnership Committee structures, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, Inuit Treaty Organizations and federal partners will co-develop a work plan to organize and plan the work for the year ahead.

This applied research initiative will deliver a production-ready AI platform that simultaneously predicts shelf-life and key sensory attributes—such as colour stability, texture retention, and flavor degradation—of food products, using detailed formulation, processing, and packaging data. The project builds directly on an earlier collaboration between Griffith and WIMTACH (Technology Access Centre at Centennial College), where two separate models were successfully developed as proof-of-concept prototypes. This next phase transforms those early research outputs into a fully deployable solution, capable of delivering actionable insights across Griffith’s research and development workflows.

The project aims to strengthen bespline’s expertise in the design and integration of adaptive molds and related equipment, supporting a major advance in industrial innovation in the North American market.
