This project aims to improve the existing Artificial Intelligence-enabled Industrial Energy Management Information System (AI EMIS) prototype which reduces energy costs, improves energy efficiency and industrial productivity and reduces carbon emissions in mineral processing within the mining sector. The project will explore new energy drivers and add peak demand (MW) and GHG calculations within the software as well as leveraging a grinding circuit simulation software to improve predicted results.

A software development project to advance a road and warehouse maintenance tools, featuring an AI-powered road condition assessment solution and a civil-engineering-based road scoring index (RSI).

Research, Develop, Test and and Measure an AI Sales Assistant proof-of-concept that increases a sales person's quality and volume of sales presentations, leading to more and more efficient sales.

The overall objective of this program is to help innovative SMEs in the construction materials, battery or plastics industry solve a technical or business problem using contract services, and by doing so to help these firms move towards circularity, energy efficiency or GHG reduction and ultimately to commercialize and grow.

Projects would be up to $25k each (before taxes) and would cover only labour. SMEs will be responsible for expenses beyond this maximum amount.

Through the Think2Switch™ system, nonverbal users can communicate basic commands using neural oscillations detected via a headband device with sensors. Acting as a translator, Think2Switch™ bridges the gap between thoughts and actions. This project aims to enhance product usability and functionality by leveraging artificial intelligence for improved user accessibility and control. By refining these innovations and engaging families and clinics in real-world pilots, the firm seeks to solidify product-market fit.

Buoyancy Works is enhancing its economic empowerment platform by refining workflows, extending functionality, and optimizing front-end interactions.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada, and while immunotherapy shows promise, it faces challenges such as high costs, long production times, and severe side effects. The Maganti laboratory at Canadian Blood Services has developed a small molecule cocktail to improve the production of "off-the-shelf" immune cells from cord blood stem cells. However, this technology needs optimization for clinical scale production of chimeric antigen receptor-expressing NK (CAR-NK) cells using good manufacturing practices (GMP). This proposal aims to create a GMP qualifying manufacturing protocol to produce CAR-NK cells (expressing a novel CD20 CAR) at clinical scale, making immunotherapy more accessible, affordable, and safer, ultimately improving cancer treatment in Canada.

This project will revolutionize personal fitness with a scalable, voice-guided training app delivering real-time audio coaching for running, cycling, and strength training by April 2026. Using a novel mix of generative AI, text-to-speech AI, and rules-based algorithms, it offers personalized feedback, motivational prompts, and two-way interaction. Users select coaching voices, receive dynamic adjustments based on GPS, heart rate, or power, and enjoy audio-guided strength workouts. With 5,000+ weekly users and 400% higher DAU rates, our tech creates a personal trainer experience, driving adherence and engagement.

The purpose of this CanExport Innovation agreement is to support Canadian organizations to carry out activities related to pursuing opportunities that would lead to establishing new collaborative Research and Development (R&D) partnerships between the Recipient and foreign organizations in order to support R&D on the Recipient’s technology and advance its commercialization.
