These are 1) safeguarding the nutrition status of Myanmar’s vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, from immediate threats that lead to undernutrition; and 2) protecting short- and medium-term food and nutrition security of vulnerable groups, including women, children, internally displaced people, ethnic minorities, migrant workers, and people living with disabilities in order to mitigate the crisis and prevent backsliding on decades’ worth of progress.

The project also extends its support to populations across Myanmar, including those in Rakhine State, by increasing economic opportunities, improving nutrition outcomes and empowering women and ethnic minorities.

This project will support IFAD’s full environmental and climate mainstreaming agenda.

The project aims to comprehensively enhance Pakistani counter terrorism and criminal justice (CJ) institutions by strengthening the two core components in preventing and countering terrorism: (1) Investigation, prosecution, and adjudication of terrorism cases; and (2) Countering Financing of Terrorism.
o The former (#1) will strengthen the capacities and coordination mechanisms of federal and provincial counter terrorism and CJ institutions.

The objective of the IRP is to improve the ability of (SPO)s to participate in the social finance market (i.e. secure a repayable investment), as well as to engage in procurement and outcomes-based funding opportunities by:.• Enabling SPOs to gain a variety of skills and competencies along the investment readiness continuum;.• Supporting the readiness of established expert services providers to provide nation-wide capacity-building services to SPOs in one or more key area along the investment readiness continuum; and.• Supporting the advancement of Canada’s SI/SF ecosystems by responding to identified system-level gaps (e.g. building the capacities of social finance intermediaries, advancing impact measurement, and supporting SI/SF awareness and knowledge mobilization)..

The objectives of the Labour Funding Program are to:.• promote respect for fundamental labour rights and international obligations through capacity building of labour administrations and exchange of good practice in the areas of labour relations and working conditions; .• develop and transfer knowledge on effective approaches to address the labour dimensions of globalization in Canada and internationally; .• strengthen relationships that foster collaboration, partnership, alliances and networks to address labour issues; .• support the capacity of governments, labour and management, and employers and employees to identify and address labour issues; and, .• promote knowledge sharing through the development, exchange and application of knowledge, tools and resources that address labour issues and/or sustain or enhance labour practices and labour relations. .

The project aims to develop technology to support aging in place through an integrated decision support for health and safety.

Develop a course on IP for delivery online and in person including a toolkit.

Engage with Indigenous women, Two-spirit, and gender diverse people to identify their experiences and needs related to intellectual property, traditional knowledge, and traditional cultural expressions in order to develop an educational resource and report.

The Recipient will engage in meaningful two-way dialogue regarding economic participation in the Trans Mountain Expansion Project, to benefit their communities. The following activities will be undertaken: participation in bilateral and/or multilateral meetings organized by Finance Canada, through methods including virtual and teleconference capacity, in-person, or written submissions.
