Contributes to the recovery of endangered, threatened, and other species of concern, by engaging Canadians in conservation actions to benefit wildlife and to protect aquatic species at risk.

The purpose of this funding is to support Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation in reviewing and commenting on REGDOC 3.2.2 – Indigenous Engagement.

The purpose of this funding is to support English River First Nation in hosting a traditional sweat lodge ceremony in Saskatoon and Cold Lake performed by Elders.

The project consists of in-depth qualitative interviews with Canadian Armed Forces Veterans to explore the experience of participating in disaster relief support with focus on occupation training, career impacts, military-to-civilian transition, and health outcomes.

Grant awarded under the Participant Funding Program to Nibinamik First Nation to help it prepare for and engage in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities related to the assessment process for the Webequie Supply Road Project.

The goal of the project is to add a storm drain as well as an outfall or any other solution to safely drain the roadway of Ducharme Boulevard, which faces several excessive accumulations of rainwater (leading to untimely closures of the boulevard and posing a safety hazard for the community).

The project consists of reducing the risks associated with landslides and river erosion to a minimum level by stabilizing and protecting the south bank of the Mille-Îles River, over more than 7 km. It also aims to enhance this shore and redevelop 9.5 km of Boulevard des Mille-Îles to add safe bicycle and pedestrian paths. In addition, the project will improve the drainage of surface water from the boulevard, which is essential for stabilizing the bank embankment.

Erosion is threatening the integrity of Boulevard Perrot (Notre-Dame de l'Île-Perrot's main road) and Chemin du Vieux-Moulin in some areas. In some places, only one metre of shoreline remains. The project consists of stabilizing the banks in the most critical areas in order to protect the integrity of these two roads, including the drinking water pipes, the sanitary sewer pipes and the overhead electrical network. In addition, the project will ensure the safety of the citizens living in these areas. Considering that Perrot Boulevard and Vieux-Moulin Road are the only arteries giving access to the residences in their respective sectors, the closure of these sections, temporarily or permanently, would no longer allow citizens to access and leave their homes safely.

The project aims to implement optimal water management solutions in five (5) problematic sectors of the City of Rosemère.
The project will, among other things, create a bioretention basin, replace ditches by vegetated swales and modify some drainage to redirect runoff water.

This project seeks to create a new 60-hectare urban nature park to mitigate episodes of extreme temperature in Montréal. The development of the park will allow the demineralization of a vast vacant site and the creation of 30 hectares of natural environments of high ecological value, in the heart of Montreal. Given the scale and complexity of the project, the creation of the nature park has the potential to become an exemplary project in terms of greening and climate change adaptation in an urban context.
