The Applied Research and Development (ARD) Grants are intended to provide companies that operate from a Canadian base access to the unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities available at Canadian colleges and to train students in essential technical skills required by companies. The mutually beneficial collaborations are expected to result in economic benefits to the company and/or Canada.

Engage Grants (EGP) are designed to give innovative companies that operate from a Canadian base access to the unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities available at Canadian universities and colleges. These grants are intended to foster the development of new research partnerships by supporting short-term research and development projects aimed at addressing a company-specific problem; that is, a problem related to the company’s core competencies or activities. The simplified application and decision processes enable university and college researchers to quickly undertake new research collaborations that extend academic expertise to these problems. The mutually beneficial projects are expected to result in economic benefits to the company and to Canada and build impactful longer term collaborations between the applicant and the company.

Museum Assistance Program (MAP)

This 31-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. Mouvement Ontarien des Femmes Immigrantes Francophones (MOFIF) will achieve this by (1) equipping and engaging community and para-public organizations in the fight for equity and the importance of including Francophone immigrant girls and women; (2) producing a white paper "L'équité, l'importance d'inclure les filles et femmes immigrantes francophones"; (3) testing a civic and political engagement program specific to Francophone immigrant girls and women and developing its final framework; and (4) breaking the isolation of Francophone immigrant women entering politics.

At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers by Advancing inclusive policies and practices; increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change; and Supporting positive distribution of authority, voices, and decision-making power to support women’s equality.

As part of this project, partner organizations working with Francophone immigrant girls and women and school boards will be involved to share their expertise and promote the project to target populations. MOFIF will establish other relevant partnerships during the implementation of the project to ensure its success and help women overcome the current impacts of COVID-19.

Project involves updating P&ID, electrical and control drawings, user manuals, spare parts inventory for rental boiler fleet.
Work with UL Canada to develop required quality documents for review and approval at Maritime Pressure UL approved location in Springhill, Nova Scotia. Mentor with Maritime Pressure Managers and Project Managers to promote Rental Boiler fleet with current and future customers.

The objective of this project is to provide a youth with some work experience in the agriculture and agri-food sector.

“My participation is my right” - Expanding the participation of young Palestinians in the democratic life of the Gaza Strip
