The objective of this Project is to support the participation of Indigenous groups on the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee for the Line 3 Replacement Program.

This contribution supports the gathering of oral history stories from Nunavik Inuit about the Torngat Mountains National Park, with a focus on Inuit legends and traditional living stories from elders. Interviews, video, and photographs will be used to produce educational and interpretive products, such as videos. Emphasis will be on Inuit that had lived or travel through Killiniq and Kaniqsuallujuaq.

1. To perform an assessment of current vulnerabilities, with special attention to the flood protection infrastructure, in two communities (Dawson and Old Crow). 2. To propose flood protection improvements, in terms of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Response Plans (ERPs), as well as infrastructure maintenance and adaptation.

The purpose of this contribution is to provide funding for the installation of a camera system, alarm system, access control system, doors, window film, exterior lights, as well as training.
