Enhancement of Official Languages Program

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;
develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase awareness, availability and use of lower carbon vehicles and fuels in Canada by supporting the installation of 22 electric vehicle chargers in Quebec.

SalesChoice requires an engineer, with a data science major to support our software engineering needs to advance our AI Sales Insight Engine software product currently in early commercial release. This engineering resource will help us further develop and help us validate our Natural Language Processing (NLP) software Layer, integrated in our AI Insight Engine, which will help us correlate two use cases (1) Mood Health to Sales Productivity (increase win rates) and (2) Courier Driver Health and Driver Safety (Correlating with GeoTab Truck Scores) - Outcome Thesis : (1) Healthier Happier people drive more safely and (2)Happier Sales People meet their sales targets/win rates more frequently than unhappy or sad people.

To conduct research to improve understanding of boater behaviour attitudes and risks and safety issues To create and share materials that improve boating safety To encourage boaters to use safe boating practices and comply with regulations

This 29-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. Healthy Youth Network will achieve this by building and expanding partnerships to formalize the integration of GBV Ally considerations into the City of Hamilton’s Youth Engagement Strategy, strengthening partnerships with the Hamilton public school boards to formalize their collection of GBV-related data; strengthening partnerships to develop and pilot the Ally Program in Waterdown District High School, which incorporates the curriculum-based ‘EngageMENt’ and ‘EmpowerHER’ programs with Halton Women’s Place, the speaker-based ‘Be More Than a Bystander’ program with Interval House of Hamilton, with youth-led events aimed at raising awareness about GBV and building healthy relationships; and, developing and launching GBV Ally resources on their online portals.
At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers by addressing persistent and harmful gender norms and attitudes, advancing inclusive policies and practices, increasing networks and collaboration, and supporting positive distribution of authority, voices, and decision-making power to support women’s equality.

This 29-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. Up with Women will achieve this by engaging corporations, by providing training and support to expert advisors, and by expanding their technical platform to improve access to advisory services for women at risk of homelessness or housing precarity. At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers of stigma of homelessness, housing precarity and the high costs related to accessing professional advice by increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change, and by addressing persistent harmful gender norms and attitudes to support women’s equality

Contribution as part of the Policy Dialogue Program to Cook’s Ferry Indian Band to assist in preparing for and engaging in participation activities associated with the ongoing Review of Legislative, Regulatory, and Policy Development Processes.
