Working Capital: In the context of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project aims to ensure the continuity of operations of a company that specializes in the rental of energy-efficient cars.

This project aims to improve access to sexual and reproductive health services for vulnerable adolescent girls and women aged 15 to 24 in Rwanda. The project’s activities include: (1) training and supporting community youth educators, so as to equip them to raise awareness among their peers and communities about sexual and reproductive health and rights; (2) training health care workers and health facility administrators on providing adolescent-friendly sexual and reproductive health services including family planning, abortion and post-abortion care, maternal and newborn health care, and support for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence; and (3) a Canada-based awareness-raising campaign aimed at involving young Canadians across the country in advocacy around sexual and reproductive health and rights. The project benefits over 120,000 thousand people, most of them adolescent girls and women, across Rwanda. L’AMIE is implementing this project in partnership with the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC), Young Women Christian Assocition of Quebec, and the Rwandan-based Centre Marembo.

Encourage Canadian fisheries and aquaculture industries to implement clean technologies and measures to reduce the potential negative environmental impacts of their activities.

Contribution as part of the Policy Dialogue Program to Cowichan Tribes to assist in preparing for and engaging in participation activities associated with the ongoing Review of Legislative, Regulatory, and Policy Development Processes.

Contribution as part of the Policy Dialogue Program to Acho Dene Koe First Nation (ADKFN) to assist in preparing for and engaging in participation activities associated with the ongoing Review of Legislative, Regulatory, and Policy Development Processes.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Métis Nation British Columbia to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Fording River Extension Project (Castle).

The Black Entrepreneurship Program Ecosystem Fund to help Black business owners and entrepreneurs across the country recover from the economic impact of COVID-19 and grow their businesses.

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;
develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action.
