This project consists of the third iteration of the Montreal International Security Summit. The event seeks to strengthen Canada's ties with NATO allies and Indo-Pacific partners in response to rising instability from Russia, China, and authoritarian regimes.

This project consists of a two-day workshop and table-top exercise focused on the space-cyber nexus. It will examine questions related to the attribution of space and cyber attacks, the impact of cyber hardening of dual-use space systems and the ethical aspect of cyber attacks as a counter-space capability.

The purpose of the Indigenous Habitat Participation Program- Grant Funding is to meet the legal obligations to support the participation of Indigenous communities in consultations on Departmental Crown conduct (i. e. , decisions, such as arrangements, approvals, authorizations and permits) under the Fisheries Act and/or Species at Risk Act.

The grant is in support of costs associated with gathering and validating client data from the program for the Indigenous Justice Program’s (IJP) recidivism study.

Biofect Innovations is advancing a microbial platform to produce Brazzein, a protein-based sweetener, at commercial titers. We’ve engaged a research assistant to support our molecular-biology team in strain engineering and process optimization. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, running routine assays (e.g., PCR, small-scale fermentations), maintaining electronic lab notebooks, and managing consumables inventory. By freeing senior scientists for design work, this role will accelerate engineering cycles and strengthen data integrity for improved strain performance.

Toronto Fresh Food (TFF) is developing an AI-driven smart quality control and shelf-life prediction system to enhance meat processing efficiency and food safety. Using computer vision, machine learning, and IoT sensors, the project will enable real-time defect detection, predictive shelf-life modeling, and automated processing optimization. This innovation aims to reduce waste, improve food quality, and enhance regulatory compliance. Supported by IRAP funding, TFF’s initiative will strengthen Canada’s food manufacturing sector by advancing AI-powered automation and smart monitoring technologies.

This project will test hypotheses and experiment with new mechanisms to design (or optimize) a repeatable and scalable business process, which may result in new business methods related to inventory management.

Participation in the ITEA PO Days held in Estoril, Portugal, Sept 15-19, 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to establish relationships with key customers, end-users, and other international firms, which will help set the stage for potential Canadian projects in the upcoming Eureka ITEA Cluster call for proposals.

The objective of the EAF is to support community based projects across Canada that improve accessibility, remove barriers, and enable Canadians with disabilities to participate in and contribute to their community.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase awareness, availability and use of lower carbon vehicles and fuels in Canada by supporting the installation of 49 electric vehicle chargers in British Columbia.
