The firm is launching a vast plan to improve the productivity of its workshops and worksites through three projects.

ReThink Milling is developing an energy efficient grinding machine. A fifty (50) Metric ton (tonne) per hour prototype has been tested at Proof of Concept. This project will prepare the Conjugate Anvil Hammer Mill (CAHM) for an extended pre-commercial demonstration. Phase 1 will establish the operating conditions to maximize energy efficiency - at least 50% better than current industry benchmark technology (High Pressure Grinding Rolls, HPGR). Phase 2 will identify the modifications required to take this prototype to a mine site and install it for an extended demonstration run. Phase 3 will ensure the operational readiness of the modified machine for on-site field work.

The Firm plans to develop Fertilizer Placement (DFP) technology.

Secure a dedicated resource to research and curate data that will populate the Machine Learning Model that drives the Health Service Navigation application. The toolset will enhance health service navigation in Northern BC with an eye on a broader provincial and national landscape.

Betterfrost is a low-energy surface heating and defrost technology company. We are looking to identify co-innovation partners who develop new light-weight materials and focus on the transportation markets and who are interested in providing innovative solutions for the fast growing, emerging Electric Vehicle (EV) market.

We are going into international markets to work with partners that provide materials and controls that will enable our Betterfrost solution to be adopted by Global EV OEMs faster and more widely.

The inundation of emails containing invoices, purchase orders, vendor inquiries, and other communications in the accounts payable and receivable processes poses a significant challenge. Email is still the preferred method for many organizations for sending bills, invoices, purchase orders, and other AP/AR documents. The proposed initiative seeks to implement an AI-driven system to automate email intake and routing, thereby increasing efficiency and accuracy. The addition of a dedicated resource – an AI Operations Specialist – is critical to the successful development, implementation, and maintenance of this system.
