Support Indigenous groups as they develop, grow and maintain aquatic resource and oceans management departments that can provide fisheries, habitat, science, and oceans related services along a watershed.

The objectives of the Labour Funding Program are to:.• promote respect for fundamental labour rights and international obligations through capacity building of labour administrations and exchange of good practice in the areas of labour relations and working conditions; .• develop and transfer knowledge on effective approaches to address the labour dimensions of globalization in Canada and internationally; .• strengthen relationships that foster collaboration, partnership, alliances and networks to address labour issues; .• support the capacity of governments, labour and management, and employers and employees to identify and address labour issues; and, .• promote knowledge sharing through the development, exchange and application of knowledge, tools and resources that address labour issues and/or sustain or enhance labour practices and labour relations. .

The Investment in Training Equipment Stream aims to improve the quality of training of apprentices in Red Seal trades...The stream supports projects that demonstrate a need for training equipment or materials that meet industry standards or investments in new technology to train apprentices in the Red Seal trades.

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;.develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action..

The Domestic Stream of SERP funds research and events in order to increase collaboration and strengthen relationships with key partners and stakeholders to better understand current and emerging employment and social development issues of importance to Canadians. The research projects and events funded will increase the body of knowledge available to all Canadians, and, improve decision-making processes for Canadians and Canadian policy makers.

The purpose of the Oceans Management Grant funding in support of Indigenous Groups is to support the development and implementation of oceans conservation and management activities in areas where management of marine resources or proposed marine conservation measures overlap with traditional territories or domestic fishing areas established under Modern Treaties.

To support the federal government’s commitment to maintain a strong and effective publicly funded health care system through investments in emerging and demonstrated innovations in priority areas, such as palliative and end-of-life care, home and community care, mental health care and other federal, provincial-territorial and emerging priorities.

Provide funding to provinces and territories (PTs) to target shared health priorities:
Working Together Priorities: expanding access to family health services; supporting health workers and reducing backlogs; improving access to quality mental health, substance use and addictions services; and modernizing the health care system with standardized information and digital tools.

This project consists of a two-day conference on the future of Canadian land power, convening experts from across disciplines to examine key strategic issues related to the mobilization and modernization of Canadian land power.
