This will be accomplished in the following ways:
• Through partnership and joint management of distinctions based investments that will enhance and expand Indigenous ELCC, and support the transfer of ELCC to Indigenous organizations;
• Strengthening foundational supports for Indigenous ELCC through, for example, Indigenous led quality improvement projects; and
• Adapting and improving existing federal programs to be more flexible, adaptable and horizontal across federal departments as a first step prior to transferring control, so that programs cohesively support the goals of the Framework including supporting self determination.

The objectives of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy Program (YESSP) are to help all youth navigate through the labour market and to successfully transition into sustained employment. These objectives are attained by supporting the needs of all youth, especially youth facing barriers to develop skills, knowledge and networks through education, skills development and meaningful work experiences.

This project aims to support the review of the 2016 Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Protection Policy.

With GAC’s support and other donors, this project will provide the IASC with an analytical review of the implementation of the IASC Protection Policy and outline actionable recommendations to strengthen protection outcomes over the next five years. The IASC will develop a Management Action Plan to take forward the recommendations of the report, which will also serve as a tool for accountability.

This project aims to improve access to high quality and gender-sensitive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services for vulnerable adolescent girls and young women, between the ages of 15 and 24, in Mozambique and Uganda. Projects activities include: (1) recruiting and training peer educators and facilitators to raise awareness of topics related to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) amongst beneficiaries in the targeted communities; (2) holding training sessions for adolescent girls and women, and engaging with men, boys and community-leaders to raise awareness of SRHR and address discriminatory social norms; (3) delivering training to health care providers and providing local health care facilities with the appropriate equipment to deliver gender-responsive and youth-friendly SRH services, including access to contraceptives, safe abortion (where legal), post-abortion care, and secondary prevention services for gender-based violence; and (4) organizing advocacy campaigns alongside local women’s and girls’ rights organizations to push for better and more accessible SRH services, and the adoption of rights- and evidence-based policies in both Uganda and Mozambique. The project seeks to benefit nearly 500,000 people, 95% of whom are adolescent girls and young women between the ages of 15 and 24. Oxfam Canada is implementing this project in partnership with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the Guttmacher Institute, Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights, and various Women’s Rights Organizations and Youth-led Organizations across Uganda and Mozambique.

Strengthening the personal competencies of women's associations in six local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina through rural and agro-tourism workshops within the BH SELO program
