Stelor is making efforts to enter the US market with it's StelorBLD - reserve fund study writing tools - offering. Specifically, company is planning to enter Texas and California. The new YEP hire will be critical in conducting market research - list of reserve specialists and engineering firms that complete reserve fund studies. As well, the YEP will do sales outreach - emailing, phone calls, LinkedIn outreach - to engage these prospects for meetings, demos, and partner discussions.

The goal of the project is to strategically help implement AI process at Intelligent Futures. The firm is seeking dedicated resourcing to support its thoughtful and practical AI integration. This includes investing in the right tools, training its team to use them ethically and confidently, and devoting time to test and refine how AI can enhance, not replace the human-centred approach.

This project will advance Cytophage’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) systems and optimize manufacturing processes for its first bacteriophage-based animal health product. By addressing the unique production challenges of phage biologics, the project will enable GMP-certified manufacturing and support regulatory approval and commercialization of this innovative alternative to antibiotics in animal agriculture.

To develop market presence and business relationships in Japan and Taiwan and to increase business capacity and resilience.

This proposed CTO contribution will give some innovation focused Canadian SME's access to construction industry experts and influencers, that can serve as both a potential target customer segment, and that can provide active feedback for further innovation.  Additionally, Canadian construction firms can benefit by exposure to new technologies that may impact increases in profitability, better efficiency, greater safety and many other areas for potential innovation.

Last year, we expanded the number of firms supported from 3 to 5, with all presenting at the CCA AGM in Quebec City in March 2025.

This year, we are proceeding with support for 5 SME's, and in addition to the AGM, adding a second presentation event at Construct Canada in Toronto in December 2025.

This project focuses on the formulation, stability, and market validation of our novel natural compound, KCB-100, to enable its use as a functional ingredient in commercial beverages. In partnership with Niagara College's Food & Beverage Innovation Centre, we will conduct studies to develop a stable, soluble formulation. The outcome will be a scientifically-backed, de-risked ingredient package for commercial partners, addressing consumer demand for evidence-based wellness products.
