The objective of this project is to develop a lightweight version of the TRAPS variable depth ASW sonar that can be integrated with unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) including the Elbit Seagull and AAI Textron CUSV. A significant reduction in weight is required; this must be accomplished without compromising USV stability or endurance, or TRAPS performance.

This project MERCURIUS LANDER led by Nautilus Marine (Germany) aims to develop a new deep-sea lander concept with a system of “messenger” pods that will receive relevant data from the acquisition system on the seabed either on pre-set schedules or in the event of a triggered alert. The messenger pods will subsequently travel up to the surface as fast as possible and will then immediately transfer the collected data via satellite communication to shore, while broadcasting its position regularly for pickup.

Develop anhydrous recombinant protein production of Textile Replacement iMolecules (TRiMs) in flour, a new class of synthetic computationally designed proteins, for the development of novel biomaterials for high-performance fabrics.

The purpose of this CanExport SMEs agreement is to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for activities related to export market development that are part of an export business case for a specific target market, particularly where activities are targeting departmental priority markets and sectors. 

SanEcoTec has designed a self-monitoring analysis reporting technology (SMART) platform for water management.

SanEcoTec’s proprietary distributed monitoring technology can integrate with key components affecting water to not only detect problems, but to identify and act on opportunities to improve water performance.

This is a differentiating feature of the Platform when compared to other water monitoring technologies.

With a database of key performance indicators (KPIs) – specific to each customer’s business needs – the platform will compare inputs against objective standards to predict outcomes and instruct the water quality system to respond automatically to changes, in real time.
