Vermillion Power Technlogies Inc. is developing a new inverter that simplifies the installation of renewable energy systems.

Develop techniques to reverse engineer software requirements in support of DO-178C certification and improve an existing triple redundant autopilot to make it more appropriate for Urban Air Mobility applications.

The objective of this project is to improve and scale manufacturing and conduct related market research on the application of renewable formates in Canada and eventually, globally. A key manufacturing target is producing 4 tonnes of formic acid per month, scaling up to an initial goal of 250 tonnes per year, with an eventual aim of 18,000 tonnes annually. For commercial success, the project targets securing industrial B2B accounts with a high trial-to-purchase conversion rate and selling 10,000 home-use units. The project aims to capture a foothold of the Canadian oxide removal market initially and industrial/municipal de-icing needs.
