Evaluate the firm's soil moisture sensors on four sites in BC.

Recent global events have shed light on the vulnerabilities within our health care systems. The growing threat of antimicrobial resistance is hailed as a pandemic in the making. As the antibiotics drug development pipeline dwindles, effective solutions to combat antimicrobial resistant strains of pathogenic bacteria are urgently needed. ETI has successfully developed a silver-oxygen scaffold gel device for the effective eradication of biofilm and pathogenic bacterium, including resistant clinical isolates, while facilitating wound healing. Employing a multidisciplinary team, this project will facilitate large scale production and distribution of this disruptive device to capture market share and combat resistance.

This project consists in leading an effort to define a Digital Information Sharing Strategy for Canadian Maritime Shipping and Multimodal Supply Chain (MMSC) stakeholders. It includes the definition of an approach for specifying a reference architecture and framework that is based on international standards and that will allow Canadian stakeholders to better coordinate, consistent with Transport Canada’s Strategic Gateways and Trade Corridors. The project will include the consideration of the Intelligent Transportation System Reference Architecture for Canada as a candidate for specifying and planning Regional Maritime Transport and MMSC Ecosystems.

Chimeric antigen receptor T-cells (CAR-T) are used to treat a variety of cancer. However, unlike well-defined drugs such as chemicals and antibodies, CAR-T are complex, living therapies. Therefore, it is difficult to objectively assess the potency of CAR-T. The overall objective of this project is to determine immunometabolomic biomarkers that can be measured prior to infusion of CAR-T into patients in order to predict the treatment efficacy for each patient.
The metabolic profile of all cells is determined by both their genomic makeup as well as their interaction with the environment. Unlike genomic profiles, the metabolomic profile can react rapidly to changes in nutrients, additives and other products added during the production of CAR-T cells from a patient’s own T-cells. Immunometabolomics can be used to rapidly and quantitatively profile hundreds of metabolites. By deploying advanced immunometabolomic techniques to the analysis of CAR-T cells in the context of on-going pre-clinical and clinical trials, we aim to identify robust immunometabolomic biomarkers of CAR-T efficacy.

The Youth will participate in the pre-sales and marketing process. The Youth will propose and execute strategies to maximize market share such as recommending new services and business improvement by industry segments, preparing marketing materials, identify and prioritize industries for penetration, prepare training material, arrange marketing events, follow up with prospects and train the trainers for the identified industry segments.

Analysis of patterns in novel biopharmaceutical research & development.

Design, Install, and Develop Modern 4.0 Assembly and Finishing process with 6 axis robot trimming & milling cell with effective process flow, time, material and part usage data collection.

This project will support an improved level of accuracy for OL and HL series devices when tracking a leak source and will allow mass flow quantification accuracy to be improved to a level of accuracy which can support the HL submission for consideration as approved alternate technology in methane emissions monitoring assessments and surveys.

The development of this technology is focused on two parameters: 1. Find economical and simple solution to manufacture and install stainless steel spot repair system in pipes with diameter > 1000mm; 2. Test and Implement remote monitoring system as part of the repair process or as subsequent installations post repair of pipes.

Develop a material supply platform that automates, standardizes and normalizes distribution data and processes to create efficiencies and reduce distribution costs across the industrial supply.
