Development of a comprehensive COVID-19 safety guidance & reporting program on our iCent platform, to provide incoming international students with centralized access to health information & safety practices in compliance with institutional, local, provincial and national government regulations and requirements.

Objectives
· Develop a machine learning model capable of determining the delta-v (dV) of a vehicle based on a series of images showing vehicle damage.
· Develop a machine learning model capable of taking the delta-v and other indicates such as a passenger's position in a vehicle to determine possible injury suffered by the vehicle occupants.

The 2020 LifeSciences BC Investor Readiness Program for SMEs will bring together ten early-stage BC SMEs with an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). EIRs will be carefully selected and matched to each SME based on specific experience and knowledge relevant to that particular SME. The program will support the participating SMEs to become “investor ready” by providing them with new skills to successfully attract investment funds. The program will culminate in an investor pitch session where the participants will use their new skills to present to a group of pre-qualified investors.

This project will support a N95 respirator production facility in Brockville, this would also include the production of key inputs for respirator production.

This project intends to develop tools to integrate available data sources, including field monitoring data, for purposes of assessing actual system performance and proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.

This project is devised to hire a candidate as a Software Develper. During the tenure the candidate will learn the use of tools, techniques and strategies to succeed in the porting and deployment of the client AI/ML models and use cases which run on DCP.

Develop a novel software framework that allows IT vendors to access the NIST Automated Cryptographic Validation Service to validate NIST approved cryptographic algorithms with the appropriate workflows.

An integrated electrochemical reactor that first reduces CO2 to hydrocarbons and subsequently upgrades the resultant CO2-derived products into novel, higher-value products is to be developed. A key reaction to be investigated during the project is first converting CO2 to ethylene and then upgrading to ethylene glycol. There has been significant progress in the demonstration of cathodic CO2 reduction to small carbon molecules such as CO and ethylene, but there has been much less work in further upgrading such molecules into higher value products in an integrated system. This will be a key objective of the project. When products offering a greater economic value can be obtained from renewable electrosynthesis, then these pathways are likely to be commercially adopted and result in major climate benefits at scale. The project will therefore focus on developing a technological pathway to promote new and valuable CO2-derived hydrocarbon upgrading reactions, with ethylene to ethylene glycol as the initial model system.
