The Firm has developed a unique AI technology that uses one camera to view a live musical performance and without moving the camera and needing any videographer create a dynamic version of the image with pans, cuts and zooms. This greatly improves the quality of the live streaming or recording of a live music performance. However, this limits the technology to just having one view of the whole band and no view of the players from different angles. Having a multi camera system consisting of 2-3 cameras greatly enhances the viewing when AI is used to choose which camera view to select dynamically during the performance. The cameras can be installed near certain players or from side angles. The AI system needs to determine what camera view to use.

Belair Mechatronics Inc. will provide a recent engineering graduate with hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing, supporting CNC machining, process optimization, engineering documentation, and AI-assisted efficiency initiatives while working alongside senior engineering and production staff. The project will help develop the graduate’s practical engineering skills while supporting the company’s efforts to improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness.

Building up on the Firm's success in designing and developing an innovative, clean, lean, dry indoor vertical farming (IVF) system, and developing a unique, innovative "Zero-Touch" microgreen production technologies, which reduced the energy costs by 47X, with highest space use efficiency, zero-pesticides, zero-water wastage, zero-nutrient wastage, zero-produce wastage, and developing a multi-spectral imaging technology for quality and yield consistency monitoring, this project further advances the Firm's critical need to optimize the LED light spectral effects on microgreen yield and quality, develop non-chemical technologies for eliminating or minimizing any potential contamination, and develop an appropriate seeds for consistent yield and quality.

This project will test hypotheses and experiment with new mechanisms to design (or optimize) a repeatable and scalable business process, which may result in new business methods for online digital channels.

The purpose of this CanExport Innovation agreement is to support Canadian organizations to carry out activities related to pursuing opportunities that would lead to establishing new collaborative Research and Development (R&D) partnerships between the Recipient and foreign organizations in order to support R&D on the Recipient’s technology and advance its commercialization.

The project aims to support innovation, research, and development activities related to the optimization of wastewater treatment processes in various application contexts.

The main objective of this project is to adapt, test and implement the Therapeutic Justice Program (TJP) in Pond Inlet, Nunavut. The TJP is an Inuit-led diversion program that aims to reduce recidivism and overrepresentation of indigenous offenders and victims in correctional facilities, increase front-line services to Nunavummiut for mental health issues, substance abuse, and trauma as well as enhance community-resource capacity by empowering local leaders and organizations. The TJP will offer activities to youth, 12 to 30 years of age, in the legal system under two main components: a clinical component that provides mental health support such as mediation, counselling, or healing circles and a cultural component that provides community-based cultural programming. An evaluation will be conducted to assess the overall effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of the Program in Pond Inlet.
