This contribution enables the participation of Champagne and Aishihik First Nations Land Guardians and heritage staff in two conservation projects: “Fisheye on Kokanee” and “Dákeyi ukaanathį̀ jè: All of you watch over our country with your heart: Restoring forest ecosystems in Kluane National Park and Reserve.”

This contribution supports the participation of the Sidney Island community in the collaborative Sidney Island Ecological Restoration Project.

The objective of this project is to purchase and share 2 refrigerated trucks to facilitate operations and increase the
operations and capacity of 12 food security organizations in the east end of Montreal. We will also
install two 220v outlets for the refrigeration of the trucks and use a platform/software for the planning and invoicing of the truck pooling services.

Aligned with the Government of the Philippines’ pandemic response and peacebuilding objectives, the project will implement a civic and peace education program that teaches social cohesion and inclusion through a multi-platform delivery of the curriculum.

The RSRTF ensures conflict drivers are addressed through highly contextualized, conflict-sensitive, integrated, multi-year resilience and stabilization programming in volatile areas of the country. The RSRTF aims to foster and incentivize consortium programming across the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus to deliver area-based programing rooted in locally-led analysis and program design. Peace and Stabilization Operations Program funding supports new area-based programming between 2021 and 2023, including support to existing area-based programs in Unity, Warrap, Western Bahr El Ghazal, Jonglei states and the Greater Pibor Administrative Area. Canada’s contribution supports a small grant window to provide flexible funding for short-term projects to respond to emerging windows of opportunities that promote peacebuilding, stabilization and resilience efforts that may fall outside the planned area-based programs.

This project aims to support the Colombian Truth Commission’s mandate in Canada and recognize the impact of armed conflict on survivors and the families of survivors forced to flee Colombia. Project activities include: (1) facilitating social dialogue activities in Canada among the people and organizations delivering the Truth Commission in Canada, survivors in exile, including women and girls of different ethnicities, and other actors; (2) documenting the Truth Commission process in Canada; (3) documenting the transition towards the peaceful co-existence and recovery of Colombian survivors in exile in Canada; and (4) developing and distributing educational and communications material on the Truth Commission, in Canada and Colombia.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase awareness, availability and use of lower carbon vehicles and fuels in Canada by supporting the installation of 63 electric vehicle chargers in British Columbia.

SARS-CoV-2 spike protein plays a critical role in initiating the infection process. There is evidence that in addition to the recognition of its receptor binding domain (RBD) by human ACE2 receptor, interactions of the N-terminal domain (NTD) with the sialic acid-based glycan receptors lining the respiratory tract are important to trigger its binding to ACE2, but structural determinants of this recognition remain elusive. As the atomic details of these interactions could be exploited to design and optimize therapeutic candidates, the Recipient will determine a series of crystal structures of spike domains complexed with various ACE2-derived peptides and glycan carbohydrates. Structural data generated will provide a solid basis for further engineering of both peptides and glycans with incremental improvements of binding and neutralization properties to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, paving the way for development of therapeutic candidates that can address not only the current pandemic but also future challenges.
