Advance medical device prototyping capacity in Western Canada

Conduct a Nunavut Research Landscape Assessment. Given recent changes to regulatory processes in Nunavut, update the 2011 consolidation of research licensing regimes to provide a current overview of the research landscape in Nunavut focusing on the various licensing authorities that issue licences and/or permits in Nunavut. Assess the level of Inuit involvement in licensing/permitting processes in Nunavut.

The purpose of the contribution is to provide funding to create targeted tools to help decrease online hatred and harmful content through the creation of new resources that provide counter speech as the narrative.

The Habitat StewardshipProgram (HSP) contributes to the recovery of endangered, threatened, and other species of concern, by engaging Canadians in conservation actions to benefit wildlife to protect aquaticspecies at risk.

To support the participation of Indigenous peoples in activities relating to theconservation and protection of fish and fish habitat, including the development of theDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans' (DFO) policies, program elements and regulationsand the development of their technical capacity to support greater involvement in the conservation and protection of fish and fish habitat.

Reaching Home aims to prevent and reduce homelessness across Canada. This is accomplished by mobilizing partners at the federal, provincial/territorial and community levels, as well as the private and voluntary sectors, and other stakeholders, to address barriers to well-being faced by those who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.

The objective of the SDG Funding Program is to support sustainable development projects that: • Support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address sustainable development and the social, economic and environmental issues and challenges; • Develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address sustainable development needs of individuals, families and communities; • Foster partnerships and networks to address sustainable development and the existing and emerging social, economic and environmental issues; • Recognize and support the ability of organizations to identify and address sustainable development priorities; • Recognize and promote engagement initiatives at the international, national, subnational, and/or local level that mobilize assets and develop capacities and resources for action; and/or • Foster Indigenous traditional knowledge on sustainable development.

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;
develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action.
