CBPPL will employ a recent graduate process engineer to determine the root causes of fibre losses from the mill process in an effort to improve process yield, to identify which processes, unit operations, storage and unloading sites present the greatest environmental hazards to the site, to determine site preparedness for potential environmental risks and identify what mitigation methods can be incorporated into current operation.

This project is suitable for a student who will analyze our current systems, make suggestions for improved systems and implement the new system. The current issues we are having are inefficiencies in creating BOM's, producing them with our inventory system, and managing the inventory raw materials and finished goods. We also have inefficiencies in the barcoding system we use that need to be improved. This will require process improvement (lean IT) and IT skills

Hiring of a youth to assist the firm with the user experience of the firm’s product.

UK AgTech consortium project 75323 led by Clarity Biosolutions Ltd (UK) in collaboration with Dynamic Extractions Ltd (UK), Bond Digital Health Ltd (UK) and Sona Nanotech Inc (Canada) aim to develop a gold nanorod diagnostic test and data management system for detection and control of bovine tuberculosis.

This precise herd management tool will enable improved control of bTB spread and be a world first. Sona Nanotech will undertake the development of a quantitative lateral flow assay, using their unique gold nanorods, to aid in the detection of bovine tuberculosis. It builds on world-leading “omics” research by Professor Luis Mur at Aberystwyth University, with the most promising biomarker identified by the Aberystwyth team to be used as the target for development of an LF test, using antibodies developed in-house or from commercial sources. CircuitIQ is on a mission to digitize electrical information. Our system saves time and money for anyone who deals with unknown electrical circuits. We are wrapping up our first Android release, and will now be moving on to building our app cross platform. We will build our app in a multi-platform application with an interface with Cloud Firestore in react native. By redesigning the app to more accessible to a greater audience with will increase our available user base and our chance of market acceptance.

In this project, HMR will focus on developing a battery pack system that can be conveniently exchanged by the users and also develop a cable management system to make power and data cables less exposed to prevent the potential risk of cable damage.
