Escale MadaVic Inc. will establish relevant partnerships during implementation of the project to ensure its success and help women to overcome the current impacts of COVID-19.

This 30-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. The Newfoundland Aboriginal Women’s Network will achieve this by implementing cultural procedures in the local court system, by implementing an Indigenous Court Navigator position, by training individuals in Gladue report writing, by strengthening relations between correctional facilities and community organizations, and by training Indigenous men and women to become Peer facilitators.

This 29-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. Grande Prairie Women's Residence Association will achieve this by engaging, educating, training and raising awareness on family and gender-based violence.

The additional funding will be used to address additional capacity building activities and improving capacity to service increased traffic to virtual services with the rise of family violence since the onset of COVID-19.

Supplemental funds will be used to further develop RISE’s capacity through an HR assessment, compensation review, and governance policy manual assessment

Clinic owners, such as Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Doctors, face increased operational challenges post-Covid, with staffing shortages and declining margins prompting many to consider leaving their practices.

The 'Coding for Veterans Cyber Security Certification Program' project offers practical education and skills development focusing on Canadian Military Veterans who are transitioning back into the civilian workforce. The program will be offered through an on-line training program at the University of Ottawa’s Professional Development Institute. The project will provide cyber security training to a total of 125 veterans throughout the course of 45 months.

The Putting Indigenous Courtworkers Learnings from COVID to work: Towards Indigenous-informed and Client-Centres "Virtual" Service Provision project will identify the skills that ICWs need to support clients in virtual environments, including Indigenous-centred approaches to communication and interaction with virtual service delivery.

SiteVue’s iOS application is currently being used by Canadian enterprise customers in the construction industry. To expand our sales into the United States and Europe, we plan to make our mobile application available on all mobile platforms (i.e. Android, Windows, etc).

Canada Cultural Spaces Fund

Project activities include: (1) providing at least 2,000,000 outpatient consultations to populations in the area of response; (2) setting up, operating and providing at lest 335,000 patient treatments in MSF managed centres in areas of a confirmed disease outbreak; (3) providing targeted vaccination campaigns and disease case management in areas of response; (4) providing malnutrition MUAC screening and therapeutic feeding care to children under the age of five; and (5) distributing non-food item kits including bed nets, and sanitation supplies (targeting pregnant and lactating women, and children under the age of five).
