The project will 1) conduct needs assessments and gather data on the barriers faced by women with disabilities in Durham and the GTA; 2) implement a networking and mentorship program designed to advance leadership opportunities for women with disabilities; 3) establish a network of male allies through community dialogues and consultations; and 4) deliver DEI training informed by a feminist disability perspective to organizations in Durham and the GTA.

The project will also mentor emerging feminist leaders to play key roles in the child care movement.

The project will include strengthening organizational governance and resources, strengthening financial partnerships, increasing collaboration and developing a feminist network of partners supporting women from the African diaspora in Canada, and developing and implementing strategies to increase the organization’s visibility and improve human resources management.

Through this 21-month systemic change project, Elevate Aviation will scale their feminist response and recovery project to further advance women’s equality, safety, retention and representation in leadership and decision-making roles in the aviation industry.

This 9-month project will support FAFIA, and its work with other feminist organizations, to ensure that the review of Canada by the CEDAW Committee is effective and informed.

Through this 21-month systemic change project, the Columbia Institute will partner with the Feminist Campaign School to scale The Barriers for Retention of Progressive Women in Municipal Elected Offices Project to advance women’s representation in leadership and decision-making roles.

Through this 21-month systemic change project, National Association of Women and the Law (NAWL) will scale the foundational work of their “Rebuilding Feminist Law Reform Capacity: Substantive Equality in the Law-Making Process” and "Adapting and Accelerating Intersectional Feminist Law Reform for a Post-COVID-19 Future" projects to advance women's economic security and prosperity as well as representation in leadership and decision-making roles in relation to law making and law reform.

Through this 22-month systemic change project, Saint John’s Women Centre will scale Empowering Them e-course to advance women’s representation in leadership and decision-making roles. The project will scale to participating employers to develop policies and procedures that create a work environment that values and leverages the contribution of women and gender diverse people. It will address barriers in the workplace faced by women and gender diverse people, empowering them to lead and take on decision-making roles. By creating a work environment that values and leverages the contribution of women and gender diverse people, participating businesses will encourage greater employee engagement, retention, and success. To do so, the project will engage with key employers and provide them with training while supporting the development and implementation of policies. Throughout the project, St. John’s Women’s Centre Inc. will conduct ongoing impact measurement to ensure training is relevant and effective.

To do so, it will bring together feminist and social justice organizations for a conference to explore Gender and Basic Income Guarantee in PEI while also mobilizing stakeholders to form a National Coalition of Feminists for Basic Income Guarantee.

Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.
