By identifying critical vulnerabilities and building responsive, flexible, and data-driven systems, the company will reduce downtime, ensure continuity of production, and maintain customer commitments. Key areas include supplier risk profiling, near-shoring options, digital visibility, and partnerships with strategic logistics providers.

SMARTBUILD is initiating a project to enhance internal operations by improving project management workflows and increasing the efficiency of departments with the use of AI-enabled tools. To support this initiative, Tanveer Saini will be hired to take on a junior project management role with. Tanveer will lead efforts to audit current project management systems, identify a central too for oversight and reporting timelines. He will learn the functions, processes and pain points of each SMARTBUILD department and then research and recommend best in class AI tools to enhance processes and improve productivity and growth of the firm.

In the proposed project, Enedym will develop an integrated switched reluctance motor drive for an electric Scooter. Enedym's switched reluctance motor technology doesn’t include rare-earth metals. Hence, it will reduce the cost and improve supply chain security of the next-generation electric scooters. The inverter and motor are integrated into the same housing. This will further reduce the cost by eliminating production and assembly of a separate inverter and by removing high-power cables connecting the inverter to the motor. In the proposed project, the motor geometry, windings and the power converter will be designed to satisfy the performance requirements, space constraints, cost targets, and for ease of assembly and manufacturability.

The intern will support the development of secure communication systems for low-power medical and IoT devices.

We seek to hire a young graduate to apply data science techniques in support of our proprietary company valuation methodology. The project will involve refining and testing predictive models using historical financial data and market performance to enhance our approach. The graduate will also conduct rigorous backtesting of an investment strategy based on our methodology, helping validate its effectiveness and commercial potential. Alooki Technology is developing an advanced AI/ML-based inspection system to automatically detect quality and safety defects in white fish fillets, such as nematodes, blood spots, and bones. Designed for real-time operation on high-speed processing lines, the system will improve food safety, reduce product waste, and support automation across seafood production. The solution is adaptable to both cod and pollock and aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Canadian seafood processors through innovative, non-invasive quality control.
