Canada's Fisheries Fund will transform and drive innovation in the fish and seafood sector in Canada with a focus on developing the sector to better meet growing market demands for sustainably sourced, high-quality fish and seafood products.

This project supports 2 goals:
1) R&D new material alternatives for TOP’s food product handling automation applications.
2) Market Research and Voice of Customer Research that will help define and align TOP’s 2020 Sales & Marketing plans to generate more sales within TOP 3 main market segments.

The purpose of this project is to develop new solutions to use low end PE, PP and Mixed Auto
plastic materials to make different plastic lumbers.

This project is about installing and tuning a new generation resin injection system at Roseburg Pembroke MDF in order to optimize resin consumption and improve the quality of the product, and reduce manufacturing costs.

This project will provide Arolytics with relevant regulatory expertise needed to create select features of Arolytics’ emission management software designed for use in the Canadian oil and gas sector.

The New Horizons Program is looking to expand their currently funded project to address identified service gaps to further support justice involved Indigenous and New Canadian Youth who currently make up over 90% of Restorative Circles Initiative's actual clientele. More specifically, programming will target youth serving a custodial and/or community-based sentence, who are involved with gangs and at high risk of recidivism. Wraparound programming will be delivered in a culturally appropriate and competent manner and draw from two evidence-based models: the Relentless Outreach and the Intensive one on one Mentorship. Over the course of the project, approximately 60-75 youth and their family will receive support to help reduce/prevent breaches and recidivism.

The YMCA of Northern Alberta will implement a new program called the "Youth Detour Program" to support youth ages 12-17, with moderate to high involvement with the justice system who are transitioning from incarceration to community and/or residing in rural communities. The programming will include one-to-one support, skill development workshops, peace keeping circles, leisure and volunteer activities as a way to address underlying issues impacting youth's protective factors and create a network of supports that help them find both short and long-term success. Over the course of this pilot project, it is anticipated that approximately 60 to 80 youth will benefit from the programming.

The Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Society will develop, implement and evaluate a culturally relevant and gender-based intervention program for Indigenous youth involved in the criminal justice system.

The Foster Family Coalition of the Northwest Territories (FFCNWT) will expand the 4Y Program - a program that offers regular, one on one support to youth who are diagnosed with or are suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) - to create a justice-specific component. The 'Justice Stream' of the 4Y Program will consist of intensive and specialized support services offered to youth who are diagnosed with or suspected of having FASD and are involved in the justice system. Through the 'Justice Stream', the FFCNWT will provide wraparound services and create a network of community support for the youth in the program, as well as for their caregivers and family.

(BFCRC) will work with its community partner, Youth Impact, to develop, implement and evaluate a trauma-informed and gender-responsive anger management pilot program for justice-involved youth. Over the duration of the three-year project, approximately 30 youth will be referred to the program by New Brunswick's Department of Public Safety as well as other criminal justice agencies. The results of the project, including any identified best practices, will be presented to other community-based agencies and government stakeholders through a provincial knowledge exchange conference.
