P015710001: March 2025 - West Bank and Gaza continue to experience deteriorating humanitarian conditions, with high levels of need in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), nutrition and protection. In 2025, the UN estimated that 3.3 million people (1 million children) require life-saving assistance. Widespread damage to infrastructure and limited humanitarian access created critical needs for WASH and health-care services across the Gaza Strip. Food insecurity is worsening and exposes 322,000 children to the risk of malnutrition. In the West Bank, violence and economic hardship impact over 830,000 people needing health care and WASH support.

With GAC’s support, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) helps provide life-saving support in WASH, health, nutrition, child protection, social protection and cash transfers while supporting system restoration to children and their families, across the Gaza strip and the West Bank. Project activities include: (1) repairing, operating and maintaining water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure and services; (2) enhancing primary-level care through mobile clinics while improving secondary care; (3) preventing, early detection and treatment of wasting, including through provision of complementary food, supplements, counselling and social and behaviour change; (4) providing vulnerable households with multi-purpose cash payments; and (5) preventing exploitation and sexual abuse and strengthening survivor assistance by enhancing grassroots initiatives and by expanding feedback mechanisms. | P015710003: February 2026 - Palestine continues to experience deteriorating humanitarian conditions, with high levels of need in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), nutrition and protection. In 2026, the UN estimated that 3.62 million people (1.7 million children) require life-saving assistance. Widespread damage to infrastructure and limited humanitarian access exacerbated critical needs for WASH and health-care services across the Gaza Strip. High levels of malnutrition continue to threaten the well-being and survival of children in the Gaza Strip. In the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, escalating violence, settler attacks, militarized law enforcement operations and movement restrictions have crippled essential services. Around 800,000 people require water and sanitation services and 830,000 require healthcare, including pregnant women and newborns.

The funding supports projects that aim to recruit, retain and help both women apprentices succeed in at least 1 of the 39 eligible Red Seal trades by:.1. creating partnerships with women’s groups, community colleges, unions or employers to recruit women.2. organizing women-led events as an outreach tool to help attract women to the trades industry.3. offering mentorship by female role models, women-in-the-skilled-trades networks, and opportunities to share success stories.4. creating a welcoming space where women can feel comfortable and safe in the training and work sites.

The Women in the Skilled Trades Initiative focuses on funding projects that recruit, retain, and help women apprentices succeed in the 39 eligible Red Seals trades found predominately in the construction and manufacturing sectors.

The initiative supports projects that:
• create partnerships with women’s groups, community colleges, unions or employers to recruit women;
• organize women-led events as an outreach tool to help attract women to the skilled trades;
• offer mentorship by female role models, women-in-the-skilled-trades networks, and opportunities to share success stories; and
• create a welcoming space where women can feel comfortable and safe in the training and work sites.

This funding opportunity aims to support Official Language Minority Communities (OLMC) organizations to deliver Employment Assistance Services (EAS) to English-speaking communities in Quebec and Francophone communities outside Quebec in their first official language. EAS includes services such as providing job search assistance, counselling/case management, job placement services, and unassisted services to help individuals prepare for, obtain and/or maintain employment.

Design and manufacture a lower-cost, non ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) restricted Electronic Attack pod that is sufficiently advanced to effectively challenge Fifth Generation (including F-35) Fighter Aircraft in such a way as to degrade the awareness of threats in training engagements.
