As part of the international consortium project “HMCIBP: Leveraging hybrid digital twins to optimize the control and performance of integrated biomanufacturing processes”, this project will develop a fully integrated, AI-driven bioprocess optimization platform to enhance production efficiency and quality in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. It combines real-time data on cell density, viability, metabolites, and titre—captured via innovative SPR technology—with automated sampling and hybrid model-based control. This integration enables rapid process adjustments for both high-throughput and conventional bioreactors, reducing costs and improving product consistency.

TRUELY Foods will undertake a process improvement initiative to enhance product quality, consistency, and operational
efficiency in the production of its high-protein cereal. The focus will be on optimizing key manufacturing parameters to
improve texture and yield while reducing costs, supporting long-term scalability and growth.

Fullstack development skills to establish myLaminin Publishing module. This entails support for researcher maintenance of dataset metadata according to DataCite metadata standards, review and coordination with assigned research Librarian, and publication of research dataset to Harvard Dataverse and Canada's Borealis (institutional instance) and the assignment of a research data repository DOI (Digital Object Identifier).

Next-generation real-time underground tracking system for personnel and assets.

Our organization is pleased to submit this proposal in support of the above project, which represents a strategic investment in our production processes, workforce, and product quality. The automation of calcium bolus production is a timely and transformative initiative that directly supports our commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and employee welfare. This project will introduce a bespoke, automated solution to replace the current manual bolus-making process, significantly improving efficiency, product consistency, and the wellbeing of our production staff.

TraceRent is developing an AI-powered backend for its PropAnalyzer tool to provide accurate rent recommendations and market insights for multi-family housing providers. This 5-month project will build scalable data pipelines, predictive models, and explainable AI features that enhance rental pricing decision making and provide transparency into the pricing. The outcome will support fair housing strategies, reduce manual reporting, and enable users to access real-time rental trends across Canadian markets.

The R&D options & viability for enhancing a cloud-based parking management system and unattended kiosks with AI span improving user experience (e.g., voice interfaces, personalized access), optimizing operator efficiency (e.g., anomaly detection, dynamic resource allocation), and boosting system performance (e.g., edge AI, cybersecurity).
