The objectives of the program are to:.•Support greater influence and control over Indigenous ELCC programs and services by Indigenous peoples;.•Improve quality and accessibility of Indigenous ELCC with an emphasis on cultural and language content;.•Support a more holistic and integrated system of quality ELCC services for Indigenous peoples; and.•Adapt and improve existing federal programs to be more flexible, adaptable and horizontal across federal departments as a first step prior to transferring control..

This project aims to increase the wellbeing and resilience of the most vulnerable populations in Mozambique, especially children, women, including victims of domestic violence, women-headed households, and people living with disabilities. This project works closely with the Government of Mozambique to provide technical assistance to strengthen the capacity of social protection institutions to expand and effectively deliver gender-responsive social assistance programs. This project provides urgent mobile cash transfers to urban and peri-urban program beneficiaries to address immediate shocks and loss of income caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, helping them meet their essential needs and preserve nutrition. Targeted messaging on COVID-19 prevention addressing gender equality issues and on nutrition accompany every cash transfer. The project plans to gradually shift its support to the expansion of the child grant support program, helping vulnerable households affected by COVID-19 and with children between the ages zero and two with cash transfers and a comprehensive care component. This project supports beneficiaries to adopt positive practices related to health, nutrition, and hygiene, including ways to access referral mechanisms to social services. Community health care workers conduct specialized home visits for families at risk to promote and improve the household’s positive care practices.

The project will help to prevent the misuse of emerging technologies and internet-facilitated
trends which threaten democracies and prevent the meaningful and inclusive participation of all
individuals in public discourse and decision-making. The project will target: the increased use of
internet shutdowns and mass communication blackouts which stifle free expression; the
enactment of rights-respecting legislation and policy frameworks on content governance; and
greater protections against the misuse and abuse of personal data by public and private sector interests.

The purpose of this CanExport Associations contribution agreement is to support organizations and ultimately aims to increase the competitiveness of Canadian companies, in the international marketplace, on a sectoral basis, thereby contributing to Canadian prosperity and the growth of the Canadian economy. This financial support enables the recipient to undertake new or expanded international business development promotion activities, in a given sector, for the benefit of its entire industry (member and non-member firms).

The objective of this Project is to conduct a series of demonstration fire tests to educate building officials and fire services on the performance and dynamics of a fire in mass timber buildings.

The objective of this Project is to expand the existing mandate of the Proponent to include national wildland fire prevention and mitigation initiatives. The Proponents capacity for preparedness and response will be reinforced to ensure it can properly meet the demands of its members, while also preparing the Proponent to accommodate an expanded prevention and mitigation mandate.
