Acquisition of equipment: The project aims to improve the competitiveness and productivity of an innovative company specialized in the treatment of wastewater and mine tailings.

Commercialization/Product Development: The project aims to commercially launch the activities of GPHY Inc. an innovative start-up company in the field of intelligent energy that designs, develops and markets a wireless battery charger.

Acquisition of equipment: The project aims to increase the production capacity, digitization and productivity of a company specialized in industrial coating.

Working capital: In the context of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project aims to ensure business continuity for a company specializing in retail sales.

Commercialization strategy and equipment acquisition : The project aims to implement a commercialization strategy and acquire production equipment for a company specialized in the design and manufacture of smoothie-type frozen meals.

The objective of this project is requesting funding for a food production platform, a food tray sealer, a blast chiller, a 12’ grease hood ventilation system, a deck oven and a platform lift.

The Domestic Stream of SERP funds research and events in order to increase collaboration and strengthen relationships with key partners and stakeholders to better understand current and emerging employment and social development issues of importance to Canadians. The research projects and events funded will increase the body of knowledge available to all Canadians, and, improve decision-making processes for Canadians and Canadian policy makers.

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges; develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action.

This project aims to improve access to sexual and reproductive health care for vulnerable and marginalized adolescent girls and young women in Bolivia, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ghana, Honduras, Jordan, Lebanon, and the occupied Palestinian territory. Project activities include: (1) educating and working with adolescent girls and young women on topics related to their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR); (2) educating and working with adolescent boys and young men on issues such as gender equality, SRHR, and cultural practices related to masculinity, gender, and sexuality; (3) training health care workers to provide inclusive and accessible sexual and reproductive health services and practices, particularly to adolescent girls and young women; (4) providing better equipment to health facilities across the project countries, in order to improve their capacity to offer comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services; and (5) working with civil society organizations and rights’ groups to advocate for better SRHR related policy. The project works to benefit over 90,000 adolescent girls and young women across the project countries. This project works in partnership with Plan International Canada, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada(SOGC), and RNW Media, as well as numerous local women’s rights groups and youth organizations across the project countries.

With GAC’s support, HOPE International Development Agency and its local partner, Metta Development Foundation, support cash programming, health and nutrition, and access to gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health for internally displaced persons (IDPs) living in Kachin State, Myanmar. Project activities include: (1) distributing multi-purpose cash grants to former IDPs returning to their homes, including in support of supplementary feeding for children; (2) providing vocational and technical livelihood training to survivors of gender-based violence; and (3) facilitating comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) training for IDPs.
