Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities.

The NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships-Doctoral Program (PGS D) provides financial support to high calibre scholars who are engaged in a doctoral program in the natural sciences or engineering.

The FASD Youth Justice Program will support youth involved in the justice system who have been formally diagnosed with FASD or have a strong querying for a diagnosis. An individual case management model involving a Youth Worker, a Family Worker and a Coordinator will be used to support and deliver programming to the youth and their families/ caregivers. The Project will also aim to foster and strengthen collaborative relationships between the various agencies and service providers working with FASD youth in the Hamilton and Burlington area.

"Project 180" is a pilot justice education program that aims to build the legal capability and pro-social skills of youth in custody and on probation, while promoting positive relationships between youth and justice sector professionals through a facilitated dialogue. The program will allow youth in custody and on probation the opportunity to share their perspectives on the justice system, identify solutions to improve youth relationships with justice sector professionals, and offer their recommendations for greater rehabilitation and reintegration of young offenders. The Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN) will develop and deliver this program in partnership with both open and closed custody facilities across the province and in collaboration with community partners who work with youth on probation.

Through this project, the Government of Ontario's Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, Youth Justice Division, will work with community-based organizations to address current and emerging gaps in the youth justice system. Intervention programming will be developed through two program streams. The first stream of programs will provide interventions to address the offending and at-risk behaviour of boys in the youth justice system that target issues of violence against women. The second program stream will offer culturally relevant programming to address underlying issues leading to the over-representation of Black and Indigenous youth in the justice system. Both programs will support youth involved in the justice system and staff that deliver youth justice programs.

The Youth Resiliency Project (YRP) is a response to a demonstrated need for culturally relevant and engaging pro-social youth justice programming that supports successful intervention, reintegration and self-development for youth in the justice system in Nunavut and Northwest Territories. The YRP is truly unique in that all project activities will be aligned with Inuit principles and supports youth in setting personalized goals in the areas of community service, skill development, physical activity and outdoor exploration.

Global Affairs Canada’s International Scholarship Program supports the recipient to enhance the international profile of Canada as a source of quality education and create interest abroad on Canada.

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges; develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action.

Reaching Home aims to prevent and reduce homelessness across Canada. This is accomplished by mobilizing partners at the federal, provincial/territorial and community levels, as well as the private and voluntary sectors, and other stakeholders, to address barriers to well-being faced by those who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
