metaKinetic, is a simulation-based training application for Energy technical professionals. The platform hosts tens of simulations to teach complex concepts and workflows in geosciences and subsurface engineering through visualization and user interaction. With the forecast of hundreds of active users, the need for tracking, collecting, and analyzing user information as they interact with the application is inevitable. The primary objective of the proposed project is to re-factor and expand the existing product backend to enable user data collection and scalability by implementing a new architecture (while continuing to support the current version until the rollout) to further the business growth and product development.

EUREKA Celtic Next - C2018/2-3 5G-SAFE-PLUS - 5G Enabled Road Safety Services with Sitowise Oy, Finland and other partners and countries.

Wedge with be joining an International Eureka project for 5G smart transportations systems that can act in real-time and allow Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) to become a reality. Weatherability is one of the most important requirements for polymer glazings in transportation. However, standards and testing methods adapted to Canada’s climate do not exist and weathering tests, which require specific equipment and expertise, are very expensive and time consuming. The CTT Group, a college technology center in Quebec, has a world class expertise and infrastructure in accelerated weathering of synthetic materials. As a collaborator of the NRC in the CLIP Glazings Project, the CTT Group will develop weathering test protocols applicable to the Canadian climate and will execute short-term performance and accelerated weathering testing to 1) provide guidance for NRC’s polymer glazing development, and 2) evaluate the weathering performance of the glazings developed throughout the CLIP Glazings Project so as to assess their viability in the Canadian climate.

The purpose of the project is to develop an efficient and effective open framework for last-mile delivery (LMD) to reduce cost and optimize the delivery time. The proposed framework will leverage emerging technologies and business models. In particular, it will utilize artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and crowdsourcing techniques. The outcome of the project will be an open and extensible framework by design. In particular, the framework will be agnostic towards the operational environment (e.g., city road network, district planning) and carrier resources.
