This project aims to revitalize traditional laws by developing cirriculum and a legal framework to preserve, transmit, and implement traditional approaches to justice. This project will consist of community engagement sessions and will support capacity building by increasing community members' knowledge on traditional legal customs related to dispute resolutions, criminal laws, and environmental stewardship.

This project aims to develop a framework of authority that will incorporate Métis cultural aspects and support the development of Métis child and family service laws. Specifically, this project will develop the legislation and policy instruments required to govern MNA's role in overseeing Métis children and families in relation to provincial services.

The organization will deliver "First Responders to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training" to first responders in Saskatchewan working with victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The goal of this workshop is to increase the capacity and expertise of "first responders" to effectively respond to disclosures of sexual assault and sexual abuse from children, youth and adults.

The organization will provide trauma-informed counselling, sexual assault support services, advocacy, victim services navigation, impact statement accompaniment and assistance with protection orders for victims of sexualized violence and the area's most at risk populations (Indigenous women, immigrants, 2SLGBTQ+, people with disabilities and adult victims of sexual exploitation).

The project will advance the development, use, and understanding of Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) Laws and create the revitalization of Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) legal systems. Chippewas of the Thames First Nation will revitalize Anishnaabe laws by developing a law-making process that is culturally appropriate and based on Anishnaabe traditional teachings.

The organization will work to build awareness and knowledge of sexual harassment in the hospitality industry in rural central Saskatchewan workplaces. Employers will gain a better understanding of their duties and how to create and maintain safe and healthy workplaces, and employees will gain knowledge on their rights, recourse options, and resources.

Public legal education and information resources will be developed, along with tools and guides for unions and employers. A public education program will be developed about workplace sexual harassment in the hospitality industry.

The organization will partner with Steamship Lines Group and Sunwing Travel Group to implement sexual harassment responses within their workplaces. The project will adapt, develop, and disseminate PLEI resources, increase and promote awareness of workplace sexual harassment, and build capacity of industry professionals through training on workplace sexual harassment.

The organization will develop partnerships with employers in the STEM sectors, to improve access to resources and supports for victims of sexual harassment in the industry. The project will seek to better understand the needs, barriers, and opportunities relating to preventing and responding to sexual harassment in the workplace. Resources and training will be provided to workplaces to support a collaborative approach to changing workplace policy, practice, and culture.

The project will develop trauma-informed public legal education resources for women who face sexual harassment in the hospitality and service industry in Toronto. Resources will be developed to inform women of their rights, community and legal supports available, and how to navigate the legal system and approach employers. Resources will be translated into multiple languages to ensure accessibility.
