Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to explore the Japanese market and to develop international partnerships and potential project ideas under the Japan Program.

This project aims to advance the firms production capabilities for innovative display and controller systems through enhanced design processes, optimized manufacturing workflows, and expanded ERP and drawing software functionalities.

The purpose of the Indigenous Habitat Participation Program- Grant Funding is to meet the legal obligations to support the participation of Indigenous communities in consultations on Departmental Crown conduct (i. e. , decisions, such as arrangements, approvals, authorizations and permits) under the Fisheries Act and/or Species at Risk Act.

This project supports the development of an AI-powered lung ultrasound diagnostic tool tailored for veterinary use. Through agile collaboration with veterinarians, the team gathers clinical requirements, coordinates structured interviews, and manages data acquisition and labelling. The role ensures insights are translated into product features, oversees testing protocols, monitors quality, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Market research, collaborator outreach, and economic analysis help evaluate fit and adoption potential across veterinary hospitals and clinics.

Port Electric Solutions Inc. (Port) is in the process of developing a new lighting fixture known as the “Tank Light”. As this product nears production, Port will require a new employee who is capable of completing the tasks necessary for producing, testing, and packaging these lights.

The Principal Investigator (PI) team has discovered that the eyes of astronauts become softer during spaceflight, and this change in the mechanical properties of the eye may be at the root of a disease that afflicts astronauts. SANS is a condition that hampers vision and affects individuals exposed to microgravity with a pathophysiology that is not yet understood.
This project seeks to:
1) Analyze pulsatile tissue deformation in the optic nerve head (ONH) to determine whether tissue strain is correlated with subsequent edema.
2) Study whether the choroidal response to Valsalva maneuvers can be used as SANS risk factors, and whether Valsalvas play a pathophysiological role.
3) Analyze long-term ocular rigidity (OR) and ocular pulse amplitude (OPA) normalization, as individuals who suffered SANS are more likely to relapse during new missions.
4) Extend the existing SANSORI cohort to determine if OR alone can be used as a predictive biomarker of SANS severity.

This project consists of a special edition of the ON TRACK journal, bringing together experts to explore how Canada can deepen defence cooperation with the European Union amid major geopolitical changes.
