The objective of this project is to develop targeted communication resources that promote biogas/RNG as a sustainable resource. This initiative will highlight to farmers and agri-businesses the environmental, economic and clean tech opportunities available to them.

The objective of this project is to develop/update four Codes of Practice for care and handling of farm animals and provide necessary communications to support successful Code outcomes. The Codes for transportation, dairy cattle, and goats will be updated. A Code for aquaculture will be developed. Communication activities will support broad Code awareness, implementation, and support, while building consumer/buyer confidence about how farm animals are raised and transported, and standards are developed in Canada.

Aurora College will undertake a two-year project to deliver the Northern Adult Basic Education Program (NABEP) to improve the delivery of adult basic/remedial education across the Northwest Territories. NABEP was created to support the territories’ working-age adults to acquire basic skills needed to participate in the labour market. The program emphasis is on basic literacy, numeracy, and other essential workplace skills. Aurora College has adapted the delivery of NABEP in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously established Community Learning Centres, including inclass teaching and student support, have been curtailed in favour of distance-education strategies. This approach is intended to allow the continued delivery of quality programming while maintaining a safe environment for students and staff. Curriculum and program development will be modified to support the transition to a greater reliance on distance education methods. Aurora College will continue to align curriculum development with culturally relevant methods that reflect the primarily Indigenous target for this program.

Delivery of the Northern Adult Basic Education Program (NABEP). NABEP was created in 2011 to address the unique challenges faced by working-age Northerners, more specifically the low educational attainment and high unemployment rates faced by northern Indigenous people. It aims to ensure that Northerners have improved access to training, and are better positioned to participate in the labour market. The objective of NABEP is to expand the territorial post-secondary educational institutions' basic workplace skills programs (e.g. literacy and numeracy programs, skills development programs, academic readiness, adult high school, trades training, educational assessment, and career counselling), particularly in remote communities.

“ELEET FLEET” software is a highly intelligent real-time fleet management and dispatch solution. We are a start-up company aimed at disrupting the current market by offering a complete solution for the Transportation Industry. Our core target market will be North America wide with our initial focus starting in Ontario. We will look to expand into Europe as we grow the business and if the market continues to dictate this move. With Canada and USA becoming mandatory to have an electronic logging device or ELD by 2019/2020 we are entering into this market at the most opportune time. We have one of Canada’s most successful trucking companies President and CEO on board with us to design the software and it is currently deployed in his business

Process Excellence Temple is currently a web-application used by World Class Manufacturing companies who apply lean manufacturing tools. The requirement to move to a mobile application is increasing everyday so this project will help us build a mobile application which would be a replication of the current PET web-application but on Native mobile application.
