Contribution as part of the Participant Funding Program to Wabun Tribal Council to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Gazoduq Natural Gas Transmission Line Project.

Oberland is enhancing it's efficiencies and life cycle monitoring to allow greater automation of the production flow while validating pre-consumer organic waste feed stocks and exploring experimental source separated organics feed stocks.

This project will focus on designing and modelling a prototype technology in a CAD environment. The successful engineering candidate will have skills in mechanical systems, heat transfer, material handling, biomass energy production, sensors and controls, and programmable logic controllers. The expected outcome of this project will be a validated model of a biomass-to-bioenergy/biocarbon system that can then proceed to the construction, assembly, commissioning and testing stages.

This project will provide cyber security assistance to a priority covid response firm.

The candidate will be responsible for adapting concrete pump control software to allow a simpler and faster installation. Also, he will have to perform pressure and position validation tests for the development of the 3D digging system. He will also be responsible for updating the technical literature.

This project consists of a major overhaul of the online testing platform which is currently outdated. Free-from is eliminating the 8 major food allergens such as dairy, gluten, egg, peanut, tree-nut, shellfish, fish, and soy. The global Free From food market is expected to value $337.85 billion, recording an estimated CAGR of 9.5%, during the forecast period (2019-2024) (Euromonitor, 2017). This type of market growth shows major opportunity for Duinkerken Foods. However, creating products that are unique is key to succeed and to be competitive in this growing market. Large USA and Canadian retailers have expressed interest and purchase of new seasonal products created by Duinkerken.

The emerging clean meat market is gaining considerable traction as consumers are increasingly making food choices based on ethical and environmental concerns. Plant-based meat producers already have products on sale in grocery stores and fast food chains nationwide. In addition, companies developing lab grown meat utilizing animal cells are raising significant investments and are expected to enter the marketplace in the coming years. Spiderwort is a biomaterials company which has developed novel plant-based materials for numerous high value applications, including for the development of clean meat. The goal of this project is to further refine the processes for developing 3D materials for plant- and cell-based meat.

Using the ISC Technology Readiness Level Scale, this project will develop synchronization technology from its current TRL of 3 to a TRL of 6. After which this technology would be evaluated on its potential of becoming a product that could be used to synchronize equipment.
