Canadian Collaboration Project – ACAM - Mobile technology is an essential component of Critical Infrastructure. Global security testing standards such as the Common Criteria (ISO 15408) and FIPS 140 are the baseline security assurance certifications for new critical software and hardware systems. Field Effect and Lightship Security propose to commercialize the combination of its state-of-the-art Noble and Greenlight test platforms, respectively. This new platform will automate compliance testing for mobile device and mobile device management systems against internationally recognized Common Criteria Protection profiles. This automated testing will be required to meet a demand driven by the growth of mobile technology, including 5G, and will be a disruptive advancement.

AMI is preparing to become a producer of metallic magnesium and amorphous silica using residues from the asbestos industry as a resource (the tailings). The tailings also contain magnetite (Fe3O4) and awaruite (FeNi3). AMI wants to recover the nickel from the tailings, which requires industrial research.

PulseMedica aims to redesign and develop a more advanced medical device prototype to be used to perform more precise retinal surgery than is a current standard in medical practice. Advancements for the proprietary real-time 3D imaging and laser targeting system include enhanced image acquisition, higher speed and resolution.

Exterior Cladding System and Hurricane Connectors Overview; The cladding system is a series of hurricane proof, moderate climates and northern climates, pre-engineered dismountable exterior panel, complete exterior siding of choice and connections which renders the cladding system of a building hurricane proof, allows for optimized energy efficiency, through mitigating thermal bridging.

We want to automate the identification of the cut pieces in order to gain speed during the sawing operation. To do so, we will set up a printer at the exit of the saw. Thus, the sawing capacity will be increased. Sawing is nowadays the bottleneck in production. Increasing the sawing capacity will have a direct impact on the production capacity. Today, marking is done by hand.

This project includes coordination of operations and activities in support of SpaceRyde’s mission in developing Canada’s first launch vehicle for small satellites.
