Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.

Through this 23-month project, Mokami Status of Women Council will strategically address significant organizational needs. This will be achieved through the development of a new strategic plan, the development and implementation of an evaluation plan to assess the impact and effectiveness of its programs, and consultations with stakeholders and funders to update the organization’s branding and to refresh its organizational identity to better serve the community. The project will also update HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure greater streamlined and efficient processes.

Ultimately, the project will contribute to creating a safer environment for all journalists by mainstreaming feminist approaches and bolstering the resilience of women journalists worldwide.

Canada Periodical Fund - CPF - Aid to Publishers

It will provide them with an inclusive space to amplify their voices and actions and thereby promote the Nunavut feminist movement while strengthening the AFN’s ties with francophone feminist organizations across the country.

Project activities include: (1) developing a gender-based analysis (GBA) plus strategy to outline approaches to and tangibly plan for integrating lessons learned from previous work, ongoing needs assessment, intersectionality, feminist monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and learning; (2) providing gender-based violence survivors with free legal aid; and (3) providing dignity kits that contain menstrual pads, underwear, and sanitary napkins accompanied by key information on GBV, GBV risks, and access to GBV services.

It supports local and regional women’s rights organizations (WROs), lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex plus (LBTQI+) groups and feminist networks working to promote the rights of women and girls and advance gender equality in developing countries.

Contributing to the mental health and collective care of 40 feminist / LGBTQA+ organizations through workshops on Psychological first aid and collective care with a gender and human rights focused approach in Costa Rica.

The Feminist Solutions to Climate Change-Driven Food Insecurity (FEMIN-ACT) project aims to address Iraq’s poverty reduction and food insecurity in Iraq through an integrated approach to agricultural development.
