Support service for innovative companies with high growth potential: The project aims to enhance the service offer of Innovations Galilei 2 and District 3 Innovation Center - Concordia University by hiring new employees and using consulting services in order to increase the number of start-ups, further stimulate their growth and increase their competitiveness on a global level.

Commercialization strategy: The project involves the implementation of a commercialization strategy by a company specializing in the development and manufacture of rail-to-road conversion systems that allow service vehicles to operate on the railway tracks.

The GHRP’s three strategic priorities include: (1) containing the spread of the pandemic; (2) decreasing the deterioration of human assets and rights, social cohesion, and livelihoods; and (3) protecting, assisting, and advocating for refugees, internally displaced people, migrants, and host communities, particularly those who are most vulnerable to the pandemic.

Project activities include: (1) providing critical medical, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) supplies, and enhancing infection prevention and control; (2) providing access to continuous education, child protection, and gender-based violence services disrupted by the pandemic; (3) providing access to basic health care services, including mental health and psychosocial services; (4) supporting risk communication and community engagement, including behavior-focused participatory interventions, and targeted messages on self- isolation measures to at-risk groups; and (5) collecting data and analysis on the secondary impacts of COVID-19.

The objective of the EAF is to support community based projects across Canada that improve accessibility, remove barriers, and enable Canadians with disabilities to participate in and contribute to their community.

The project will help a rural company increase production capacity to meet its growing demand in the US.

The organization is dedicated to the development and delivery of educational programs for all federal, provincial, and territorial judges. The Institute's programs stimulate continuing professional and personal growth and reflect Canada's cultural, racial, and linguistic diversity, as well as the changing demands on the judiciary in a rapidly-evolving society. The programs focus on three major components of judicial education: substantive law, skills training, and social context issues.

The proposed research will address these needs through a combination of lab and field research, including the development of AI-based methods, to account for temperature and detect critical rail stresses, and a robotic fibre installation prototype. The project outcome will be a prototype digital twin that can eventually be used by industry collaborators for use in the maintenance and management of their rail networks.

The firm will build a software platform for agricultural governmental bodies, greenhouse operators and entomologists to gain visibility into the pest (insect and diseases) situation of greenhouses across the country, manage lists of approved pesticides, beneficial insects, and see their use. The platform will also communicate important pest / disease notices and warnings to all greenhouses across the country.

The project is to help increase capacity to meet growing demand in markets by implementing advanced manufacturing and digital technology in a new production line.
