The Yellen project - meaning 'light' in Bambara - works to enable women and adolescent girls in Kayes, one of the poorest and most underserved regions in Mali, to benefit from quality health services by improving their knowledge, increasing their decision-making power and their ability to influence their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

The project proposes an innovative model of collaboration to harmonize the work of health service actors at the state, civil society (especially women's groups) and decentralized community levels.

Project activities include: (1) supporting Mali's Ministry of Health and Social Affairs in the implementation of the Social Health Development Programme, specifically with regard to improving sexual and reproductive health and rights; (2) providing training and equipping health workers to deliver quality services that meet the specific needs of women and adolescent girls; and (3) constructing and rehabilitating community health centres and providing equipment and inputs for the delivery of sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning and emergency obstetric care.

The project aims to reach more than 540,000 women and adolescents.

Canada's Fisheries Fund will transform and drive innovation in the fish and seafood sector in Canada with a focus on developing the sector to better meet growing market demands for sustainably sourced, high-quality fish and seafood products.

Over the course of the three-year project, Innocence Canada will establish a national coalition of organizations and individuals active in addressing the issue of wrongful convictions. The coalition will be led by Innocence Canada as the secretariat. The project will enhance the capacity of legal professionals, academic institutions, Innocence Projects and technical experts to better respond to issues relating to wrongful conviction. Web-based tools will be used to link members and to facilitate the exchange of information. The project will develop capacity among wrongful conviction stakeholders across Canada to engage in public awareness and knowledge-sharing activities. The project will improve the quality of resources that are available to stakeholders and will promote national collaboration on the issue.

Building a full policy administration platform to allow for end-to-end delivery of commercial insurance products throughout Canada. This platform will allow for quoting, binding (close), payment, policy issuance and midterm policy changes.

This project concerns the development and implementation of a fast-paced, virtual innovation-services program for Canadian small- to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) having marketable, or nearly marketable, Digital Health solutions capable of addressing the challenges faced by the public, care-providers, the healthcare-technology industry and government as a result of the present COVID-19 crisis.
