This project aims to install automated processing and packaging equipment as well as to integrate advanced technology.

This project aims to empower youth to take on leadership roles in agriculture and agri-food by enhancing their capacities in innovation, science, and entrepreneurship. The activities will support the development of young leaders capable of communicating effectively within the sector and with the public, as well as provide the knowledge and skills to address emerging agricultural, agri-food, and environmental challenges with confidence and credibility.

This project delivers the initial phase of the Indigenous Justice Strategy in Manitoba by establishing a First Nations–led Tripartite Table to implement the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry under Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Call for Justice 5.1. Led by the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, the Table brings together First Nations, Canada, and Manitoba within a distinctions‑based, Treaty‑grounded framework.

This project will build on the Indigenous Justice Strategy engagement which identified the unique challenges experienced by Mi’kmaq within the legal system. The project will be a collaboration with the Union of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq to prioritize trilateral collaboration to establish priority areas of justice reform.

As part of this project, the COFRD will organize awareness and information sessions legal services to help French-speaking Canadians and newcomers in the region of Durham, an official language minority community, to learn more about and exercise their rights, and answer their questions about justice in both languages official documents.

This project will support Island Lake Anisininew Anokiwin to form a justice committee to engage with member First Nations to inform and participate in the Indigenous Justice Strategy table discussions in Manitoba.

This project will advance Indigenous‑led regional priority‑setting and contribute to the development of a costing framework for implementing the Indigenous Justice Strategy. Expected outcomes include strengthened coordination among partners and clearer pathways for effective regional implementation.

Strengthening Small-Scale Fisheries in the Pacific Islands (Phase II) supports Samoa, Fiji, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu to strengthen inclusive, sustainable, and climate-resilient coastal fisheries. Delivered by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in close collaboration with national fisheries authorities, the project combines strong fiduciary management with targeted technical assistance.
Building on proven results from Phase I, the project addresses persistent gaps in livelihoods, data, and climate preparedness by promoting inclusive governance, improving post-harvest practices, and strengthening early-warning and anticipatory action. Gender equality is a central focus, with dedicated efforts to enhance women’s leadership, expand access to services, markets, and social protection, and support more diversified and resilient livelihoods for coastal communities facing growing climate and economic pressures.

This project represents Canada’s voluntary contribution to the effective functioning of the Arctic Council Secretariat for the 2026 calendar year, including administration, coordination, and communications.

The purpose of the Canadian International Innovation Program (CIIP) grant agreement is to support Canadian SMEs identify international partners in CIIP target countries for industrial research and development collaboration that has good potential for commercialization.
