As part of the international consortium project “H2CliP”, this project will focus on the optimal role for hydrogen in achieving net zero targets in Canada and Germany. The objective is to identify the optimal conditions for increasing the cost-effectiveness of hydrogen technologies and pathways, shaping new integrated hydrogen networks. To support this initiative, we aim to create a database, develop a unified approach within a multi-scale and multi-scenarios modeling digital tool and use them to deliver climate policies impact analysis and use cases to demonstrate how low cost & low-carbon hydrogen technologies can be incorporated into our economies.

Conduct a series of test days where the equipment will be used by workers in place of their usual power units. Measure equipment performance and document worker feedback during these periods to assess product reliability and identify potential improvements for users. The tests will be conducted in all weather conditions in collaboration with three partner cities: Lévis, Sainte-Julie and L'Assomption.

The tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) is an emerging disease threatening tomato industry by deteriorating fruit quality, reducing shelf life and making fruits unmarketable from 30% to 70%. ToBRFV can overcome all known genetic resistance genes resulting in all commercial tomato varieties being susceptible to the virus. Efforts to manage ToBRFV currently focus on using certified seed and maintaining strict biosecurity and sanitation practices. We have developed some attenuated ToBRFV strains that will be tested for the efficacy to protect tomato plants from the infection of wild-type ToBRFV in a commercial greenhouse.
