Funds will support the NAMPAN Secretariat in finalizing a detailed interactive story map of North American MPAs, managing NAMPAN online platforms, planning for future interaction sessions and strategies for engagement and outreach.

This will be achieved by increasing access to evidence and knowledge of LGBTQ2 challenges through collaboration among organizations, and enhancing technical expertise within organizations through skills development, resources distribution, training strategies and assessment of community needs by mapping out 2SLGBTQ youth housing service for Saskatchewan.

The organization will develop a project charter to guide its engagement with grassroots and other racialized, immigrant and refugee women’s groups to map out needs, interests and viability. The organization will carry out a needs assessment, develop an action plan to advance racialized, immigrant and refugee women's prosperity and address priority challenges.

Funding will allow the organization to establish itself as a women-centric organization and increase its capacity in: outreach operations; establishing policies and procedures related to governance; undertaking community needs assessment and asset mapping processes; developing strategic and sustainability plans; and, implementing a collaboration plan with local stakeholders and service providers.

The project will include improved access to midwifery care
for specific underserved women (BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, living with disabilities, rural, northern, low income, newcomer and OLMC communities) through engagement with organizations that work with these populations, increase engagement with other health professions by mapping and identifying priority interprofessional relationships and building connections with leaders of education programs and associations and by developing a strategic fundraising and grant writing strategy to secure future diverse funding streams.
