Project activities include: (1) training women farmers on climate-smart agricultural processing and production, leadership, association-based entrepreneurship, and their fundamental rights, including the right to land; (2) integrating women farmers into existing literacy and financial literacy initiatives; (3) providing positive masculinity training to men and traditional leaders, including youths; (4) providing elected officials from cooperatives and agricultural unions with training on inclusive governance and financial management practices, as well as on gender equality; (5) providing cooperatives and unions with support to develop business models and fund agricultural projects that promote climate change adaptation in predominantly female value chains; (6) providing regional women’s organizations with support to advocate for women’s economic rights among officials and conduct awareness campaigns; and (7) building the operational capacity of the Fédération nationale des femmes rurales.

This project is being implemented by the Alliance agricole internationale, a platform for agricultural engagement and action formed by the Société de coopération pour le développement international (SOCODEVI), the Centre d’étude et de coopération internationale (CECI) and the Union des producteurs agricoles - Développement international (UPA-DI).

Project activities include 1) promotion of adapted agricultural financial services to small producers, including products that specifically meet women's needs; 2) digitalization of financial services; 3) provision of financial education and support to various target groups to facilitate access to loans; 4) promotion of gender equality and inclusion among organizations and poor populations; 5) provision of technical assistance to the Cellule de contrôle, the Centre de promotion et d’appui and to the Association professionnelle des systèmes financiers décentralisés; 6) strengthening the organizational capacities of producer organizations through training on organization, governance and the animation of a collective structure.

Mouvement Ontarien des Femmes Immigrantes Francophones (MOFIF) will achieve this by (1) equipping and engaging community and para-public organizations in the fight for equity and the importance of including Francophone immigrant girls and women; (2) producing a white paper "L'équité, l'importance d'inclure les filles et femmes immigrantes francophones"; (3) testing a civic and political engagement program specific to Francophone immigrant girls and women and developing its final framework; and (4) breaking the isolation of Francophone immigrant women entering politics.

The array will be used to map sub surface fractures that will be used in evaluating water disposal from the oil fracking industry and for the sequestering of c02 in the earth.

This is a large technology challenge that has not yet been solved in the public system, as system integration is challenged due to data mapping and stringent privacy policies.

The Project will consist of the development of AI-based algorithms for autonomous BVLOS flight routes, algorithm development for simultaneous localization and mapping, the design of vision-based control methods for landings, intelligent aerial manipulation control techniques for package delivery and pickups; collecting drone flight and delivery-pickup data from northern Manitoba communities and verifying the AI-based methods through simulations and experiments.
