Reko’s will investigate all the requirements related to Controlled Goods Programme certification and to ensure that its audit procedure and validation of all elements is sustainable. Additionally, Reko will prepare and apply for the Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CPCSC).

Technology North Digital Services (TNDS) will strengthen Canada’s defence ecosystem by adapting its secure digitization, archival modernization, and AI-assisted video-redaction technologies for military and military-police use. Building on proven deployments with Canadian police services, TNDS will assess defence requirements, define security and accreditation needs, and refine AI workflows for restricted environments. This project positions TNDS as a trusted, Canadian-based dual-use provider ready to support DND/CAF and allied digital-modernization priorities.

This project will strengthen TensorOne’s defence procurement readiness by advancing cybersecurity certification, market engagement, and strategic partnerships.

Activities include completing required to properly establish security clearances, cyber compliance requirements, certification process requirements, participating in defence-focused trade events, and developing partnerships with established Canadian defence firms.

This project will prepare a Canadian-developed secure digital communications platform for deployment in defence applications. Activities include defence market analysis, security certification planning, and technical adaptation to meet defence requirements. The project will strengthen Canada’s defence innovation ecosystem by advancing sovereign digital communications technology and positioning a Canadian SME to support defence operations. This initiative supports national priorities in cyber resilience, artificial intelligence, and secure digital infrastructure.

Advances exploratory research under the New Beginnings Initiative

This project explores two distinct physical asset protection tracks and applicability in CAF and Allied defence

Development of a state-of-the-art glasses-free 3D visualization technology designed to alleviate cognitive overload for users in critical environments.

Despite being a major economic driver, Canada’s cement and concrete sector is one of the most challenging to decarbonize with Portland cement accounting for 90% of its emissions. Supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) offer a promising emission reduction pathway, yet progress is constrained by declining supplies of traditional SCMs and siloed research hindering standardization. This Project introduces a novel Triaxial Research Framework to accelerate low-carbon concrete adoption by: (1) Identifying
emerging SCMs and assessing their availability at commercial scales, (2) Fast-tracking lab-to-field performance validation, and (3) incorporating materials research, life-cycle-assessment, and standardization into a unified platform.
Focused on three high-potential SCMs (ground-glass pozzolans, steel slag, and biomass ash), the Project conducts nationwide supply analysis, comprehensive lab-to-field testing, and life-cycle assessments from component to national scales. Outcomes include validated high-replacement SCM concretes, accelerated advancement to TRL 8, and charting of robust decarbonization pathways to lower Canada’s clinker-to-cement ratio and support Net-Zero goals.

This project evaluates dual-use opportunity for satellite-derived soil moisture and vegetation moisture analytics in terrain mobility and environmental operational risk assessment.
