Team Eagle has conceived a much more efficient and elegant solution for removing snow and ice from airfield runway and taxiway surfaces. The goal of this project is to design and build a prototype, suitable to test the various design requirements and assess the validity of scaling the prototype towards production versions.

A graduate will join our LiveNETWORK team. This is a framework designed to reduce waste in film production and related industries by reducing the use of plastic hard drives, physical packaging materials, and shipping/transportation.

The project is to add expertise around cloud storage technologies for our eRAID storage solution. This involves development and integration of our solution with the cloud and also includes investigations and research for scalability of the cloud storage solution , as well as identification of the integration processes, procedures and APIs for private and public cloud infrastructure.

MasterpieceVR is a Virtual Reality (VR) sculpting and drawing tool for creating 3D models in VR. This project will focus on adding selected CAD (Computer Aided Design) functionality to greatly expand its market.

The Applied Research and Development (ARD) Grants are intended to provide companies that operate from a Canadian base access to the unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities available at Canadian colleges and to train students in essential technical skills required by companies. The mutually beneficial collaborations are expected to result in economic benefits to the company and/or Canada.

Engage Grants (EGP) are designed to give innovative companies that operate from a Canadian base access to the unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities available at Canadian universities and colleges. These grants are intended to foster the development of new research partnerships by supporting short-term research and development projects aimed at addressing a company-specific problem; that is, a problem related to the company’s core competencies or activities. The simplified application and decision processes enable university and college researchers to quickly undertake new research collaborations that extend academic expertise to these problems. The mutually beneficial projects are expected to result in economic benefits to the company and to Canada and build impactful longer term collaborations between the applicant and the company.
