This project advances the readiness of an Ontario-developed adaptive digital training platform built over eight years in collaboration with leading Ontario hospitals and universities and validated in structured clinical settings. The project will adapt the system for performance optimization and psychological resilience applications.

Many older Canadians wish to age in place, but bathroom accessibility is a major barrier due to space, layout, and retrofit challenges. To date, there is limited guidance for the functional space and configuration requirements to support bathroom maneuvers by individuals who use assistive devices, including 1) WhMD users and 2) people who require a caregiver or support person for bathing or toileting. This study will provide essential evidence to inform discussion for the National Building Code of Canada. Findings from
this work will remove barriers for older adults, while also considering the need for minimum requirements that would allow some accessibility to be provided in tight spaces that are common in the real-world. The widespread uptake of evidence into design practice will be supported by engaging the technical committees developing requirements for the National Building Code of Canada (NBC) in this area.

Participation in the Canadian Cleantech for Mining Mission to Australia and Indonesia – May 4 to 13, 2026. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to establish relationships with key customers, end-users, investors and other international firms, which will help set the stage for potential Canadian projects in the International Technology Pilot and Demonstration (ITPD) Program: Cleantech call for proposals. Firm will also be attending the Global Resources Innovation Expo (GRX26) conference.

The Postdoctoral Fellowships (PDF) Program provides support to a core of the most promising researchers at a pivotal time in their careers. The fellowships are also intended to secure a supply of highly qualified Canadians with leading-edge scientific and research skills for Canadian industry, government, and universities.

This contribution supports the acquisition of strategically located lands in Windsor Ontario, by the Ontario Conservation Accelerator, to support the proposed national urban park in Windsor. After purchase, the land will be transferred to a partnering land administrator, to be determined.
