Good practices in climate-focused gender lens investing will be identified and shared, and a road map for international development stakeholders will be developed to provide further gender-responsive support to women climate entrepreneurs and intermediaries.

Ocean-colour remote sensing is used to monitor a multitude of physical and biological characteristics and changes in our oceans, and to map seafloor habitats and bathymetry. This technology relies on atmospheric radiative transfer models calibrated with data from low-mid latitudes, and frequently fails in the Arctic, where the humidity and composition of the atmosphere is different.

Replacement of Large Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites used for Earth mapping, surveillance and monitoring can take more than a decade and is very expensive.

It has been long believed that such accreting SMBHs play a significant role in shaping the evolution of their host galaxies, yet the exact mechanisms remain largely shrouded in mystery. This project will map, for the first time, the physical conditions of the gas around the central SMBH and reveal its impact on the host galaxy.

Currently, the ability to accurately map these attributes over forested landscapes accurately and in a cost-effective way is limited not by data, but by processing approaches to extract these attributes from very large, complex datasets acquired from a range of remote sensing platforms.

Additional objectives include analysis and mapping of the cumulative impacts of landscape disturbances on water quality across the southern traditional territory of the FNNND as confirmed within our modern-day treaty agreement.
